Re: ⚽ Newcastle Utd vs West Ham Utd: match thread

Fabianski
Coufal Dawson Diop
Fredericks Soucek Fornals Masuaku
Bowen Lingard Benrahma

They play a similar formation to Leicester so I would try to keep the tactics as close as possible against them. Coufal and Fredericks doubling up on Ritchie would allow us to get some success down that wing.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Tottenham Hotspur: match thread

Would like to see a full strength team for this but I'm expecting a few changes, especially in defence.

Adrian, Fredericks, Ogbonna, Diop, Cresswell, Rice, Obiang, Snodgrass, Antonio, Anderson, Arnautovic.

He's starting tonight, it will be interesting to see if he performs after what's gone on with him in the media in the past 24 hours.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 7 days remaining

Whufc Bulletin on Twitter reckons that Bernard is signing for us on a 4 year deal worth 110k a week. That account doesn't get everything right but definitely has some inside knowledge.

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

Hart
Zabaleta Rice Ogbonna Cresswell
Noble Kouyate
Mario Lanzini Masuaku
Arnautovic

Subs
Rice --> Collins
Hart --> Adrian
Mario --> Hugill

Collins deserves a standing ovation. We can thank Hart and Mario. I would also like to see Hugill get some minutes.

Re: Liverpool v West Ham Utd: match thread

I saw the first half of the Southampton game and Liverpool were pretty poor in defence, Ward-Prowse had a couple of chances with his head and he's only 5ft 8. I would play Arnie and Antonio/Hugill for aerial threat and to press the liverpool back line into making errors.

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs

Have him on the bench, but I would rather us not play him and give him an extra 2 weeks of training.

He's probably optimistic that he has a chance to slot in next to Noble in midfield.

The only reason that we would let him go is because Gold & Sullivan will pocket another 15K a week.

Re: January transfer window

Theres an international break in 3 weeks time so Sturridge would only have to stay fit until then. Arnie and Antonio could then go back upfront together if Sturridge got injured, but I predict that he would stay fit and do well here if the move happens. Even though I can't stand his goal celebration...

Southgate and his technical team are keeping an eye on Rice. I know he was born in London, but I can't see him swapping nations after playing for Ireland U21's.

Re: January transfer window

Various west ham groups on Twitter are saying that there are reports coming out of spain that we are close to signing Gerard Deulofeu. I can't see it happening, but he was a Tony Henry signing at Everton so there might be some truth to it.

Re: January transfer window

Fonte is now back in full training which gives us a bit more depth in defence and covers Reid if he is out for longer than expected. I don't know if its like this every january transfer window, but it seems like only a couple of clubs have done any business so far. IF we signed a centre mid and righ...

Re: January transfer window

If N'Zonzi does go to Arsenal, maybe we could pinch one of Coquelin or Elneny on loan for the rest of the season. Both live in London already, would want to go to the world cup and would have limited playing time if they stayed where they are.

Re: Michail Antonio

Moyes has upped the intensity and after him having a few niggly injuries, he is just playing catch up with fitness at the moment. Some people take longer than others to get back to full fitness and with Antonio's muscle mass, he is probably gonna have to put more work in than others to match everyon...
