Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

A poor game to watch from a neutral perspective, but I thought we played OK (6/10) and were by far the better team throughout. Apart from Martin's ricket I really couldn't see them scoring. I can only remember them having one other clear chance (which Martin saved) whereas we had at least 4 or 5. T...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Good post Mole. He came across OK and showed the fans and club a lot more respect than the faux fans in the boardroom. I don't think he was the right appointment but that's not his fault. I'll remember him for the last game of the season against Everton and a fitting send off for Ginge. Unfortunate...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

****ing shambolic appointment, bringing in a bloke who hasn't worked since we told him he wasn't good enough for our ambitions 18 months ago. Owners need a banner on there front gates again the old *****, 18 month contract is taking the piss. Caretaker till the end of the season and then a proper ap...

Re: The Future for VAR

They can use it for diving but don't, that says it all for me, When a player throws himself to the floor holding his ankle or his face when there was no contact whatsoever, there is a minute of checking he is OK then lining up the wall, pacing out the 10 yards etc, this is when the var team should ...

Re: The Future for VAR

Completely ruining the game, said it earlier in the season in the Tottenham Man City game, if you can't celebrate a 95th minute winner against rivals because the ball brushed someones arm by accident on the way in then the games dead. I think the only thing VAR should be used for is Offsides with i'...

Re: Bored Of It All Now

Probably get ****ed off for this but i've been desperate for a relegation for a few years now. **** off all the shirkers in the squad and bring youth in, proper games against proper teams, 3pm Saturday kick offs, get to ignore the regular top 6 in the papers every week. I forgot we were playing unti...

Think it's introduction might be the final nail in the coffin for me. If you can't celebrate a 92nd minute winner because the ball brushed someones arm in a natural position I can't see the point anymore.

Re: F.A.O ST Waiting List Members

I was on the waiting list from being a Claret Member previously, got offered a season ticket last year (declined as I was already a Club London ST holder which you'd think they'd know) and I haven't renewed CL this season. In the last 2 weeks I've had 2 texts, 4 emails and a phone call this morning ...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Clear out all the deadwood, sign 3 £30m players and then shut up shop for the summer.

That'll give us a better chance of improving than buying 9 £10m players. Use the youth as back-up should any get injured.

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

I genuinely don’t understand how anyone can follow football for so long and still not grasp the basic concept of signing a player who is better than someone currently in the squad purely for the benefit of an increased points tally come the end of the coming season. I don't know how anyone can foll...

I actually quite like most of the players in that Liverpool squad compared to Spurs lot, be nice to see Milner lift the trophy.

Hope they spank Tottenham double digits.

Re: Week's other games (4-10/05/19)

The best way to deal with spurs fans today is to remind that if the top 6 finish in the league as they are, Liverpool wins the Champs league and Arsenal win Europa then Spurs will be playing Europa league next season. Same for Chelsea, if Arsenal and Spurs win the Euro cups! Not correct unfortunate...

Re: Weekends other games 12th to 15th April

Surely this dispells the Pep myth now, will he give you a chance of winning the league yes, a chance of Champions League no, done nothing since Barca as his tactics are unsuitable for Champions League knockout and concede too many goals. I've always wondered why you haven't led a team to CL glory y...

I'd rather Barca won it over any English club but wouldn't mind Man City winning it.

Why would I want some smug Tottenham tossers being able to brag about finally winning there first proper trophy in almost 30 years.

There is no doubt that does look wonderful, but just imagine, if you will, you are Gold £ Sullivan, why would you, even if you had the money, which they don't, to build state of the art facilities like these, for which you will see no benefit and if you had their mentality, that the training ground...
