Re: Other matches ~ w/e 2nd - 3rd Sept
I had a lot of sympathy for him, before he turned down a move here, I think getting out of Manchester should have been his motivation, not money Why does it have to be about the money? If I offered you the same wages or less to move 4 hours away from your friends/family (especially with young kids)...

Re: Can Brighton ' Do a Leicester ' ?
Or do you prefer our 'making it up as we go along' plan? Which has seen a lot more 'bust' than it has 'boom'. The "making up as we go along plan" just won us a European trophy and Brighton have won **** all except a 6th place finish. I don't need to have a problem with what you've written...

Re: Can Brighton ' Do a Leicester ' ?
I sound like a broken record when talking about Brighton but I am surprised more people don’t understand what’s happening down there. Everybody needs to google Starlizard Consulting Ltd. It’s one of Tony Bloom’s (Owner of Brighton) companies. It creates data on every aspect of a football match (and...

Khawaja and Labuschagne, 46 runs off 211 balls. What a load of ****ing dross.
I'd rather they take the Ashes home than suffer us playing like that.

Re: Cricket: The Ashes (Summer 2023)
Ben Stokes must now be regretting his decision to bat on last Friday. I couldn't understand at the time and don't expect he does now, either. He did so because he wanted to rub the Aussies noses in it, but he must've known the weather forecast for Saturday and Sunday was gloomy and unfavourable to ...

Re: Cricket: The Ashes (Summer 2023)
Question to you all. If all five matches are like that but we come out on the wrong side of 4 or 5 of them. Will you still applaud Stokes and our entertainment? Absolutely, and it'll keep test cricket alive for me. Give me that entertainment over watching the most boring innings in the world from K...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)
Can't counter a vunerable City because we're knackered, the only way Moyes could have saved his **** starting line up would have been if we'd have brought on Bowen and Anderson 20 minutes ago for Noble and Cresswell and might have had a tiny hope of nicking a goal or two. I reckon we're down and we'...

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread
A poor game to watch from a neutral perspective, but I thought we played OK (6/10) and were by far the better team throughout. Apart from Martin's ricket I really couldn't see them scoring. I can only remember them having one other clear chance (which Martin saved) whereas we had at least 4 or 5. T...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC
Good post Mole. He came across OK and showed the fans and club a lot more respect than the faux fans in the boardroom. I don't think he was the right appointment but that's not his fault. I'll remember him for the last game of the season against Everton and a fitting send off for Ginge. Unfortunate...

When Labour's extreme socialist policies ran out of other people's money to rob, they'd have turned to the disadvantaged anyway.Danny's Dyer Acting wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 1:15 am So England is officially a right wing country now.

Re: 2019 General Election
****ing fantastic if it's anywhere close to that, proving that most people are sensible enough to realise what Corbyn and his Momentum mob would do to anyone with an ounce of ambition in this country. Absolutely horrendous policies that would put most business owners into flipping burgers in McDonal...

Re: What are you playing right now?
Destiny 2 - the new DLC, Shadowkeep, has pulled me right back in. Anyone else playing? I'm power level 911 and counting, just completed the main campaign. Lots to do! Pretty much the only game I play now and about 600 hours in, D1 and D2 have been absolutely phenomenal games, really is nothing like...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread
Clear out all the deadwood, sign 3 £30m players and then shut up shop for the summer.
That'll give us a better chance of improving than buying 9 £10m players. Use the youth as back-up should any get injured.

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread
I genuinely don’t understand how anyone can follow football for so long and still not grasp the basic concept of signing a player who is better than someone currently in the squad purely for the benefit of an increased points tally come the end of the coming season. I don't know how anyone can foll...

I like spam, especially if it's grilled, very tasty. Mmm... spam fritters. Processed meat so it'll probably give me cancer & heart disease but still.. Fried spam and egg sandwiches with a slice of cheese, one of my all time favourite weekend breakfasts. Have to balance it out by having scramble...

Buzzing and one of my favourite games as a kid. I got the Platinum Trophy for the Crash Bandicoot 1 Remaster which was infuriating but also immensely satisfying spending hours trying to beat the ridiculous time limits they set for the levels. I'm expecting CTR to have a similarly brutal trophy system.

Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19
Because I have that at 32 games and just 7 goals. He won't get the chance to rack up goals against poor opposition in the European qualifying rounds for us. He has to do it in the league. Incredibly harsh on him those stats. Those 32 games amount to 588 minutes of Premiership football, he scored 7 ...
