Re: Irn Bru - A true British great

Fully agreed, what an unbelievable drink.

Also handy that 'Irn-Bru Xtra', i.e. sugar-free one, tastes virtually identical imo to the normal version. Love the stuff.

Re: FA Cup replays scrapped

It's surely better for the lower league clubs to not have replays? I know that thing about gate receipts but that would depend on a lower club reaching at least the third round AND being drawn to a big boy. The majority of cup replays are going to be in rounds 1 and 2 against lesser opposition anywa...

The bloke snaps and just blurts out “I JUST WANT TWO SMALL KN*BS!” - just as I turned the corner (it’s all corners in there).

Joke of a club ownership during transfer windows to leave us in this position hardly being able to name a decent squad :thdn:

Re: Little things that irritate you

N/S/F tyre seemingly being fine but PSI on my dash monitoring the tyre pressure saying it's at 17 psi, with the others being 34. Manual gauge on valve though says that the tyre in question is the same as the other front tyre. Vauxhall quoting £160 just for diagnostics and no availability until mid-J...

Re: Midweek Games April 9-11

We'd still be sitting here watching it get forensically analyzed if it was up the other end. An utter crock of **** which is rapidly getting me disinterested in watching non-West Ham PL games.

"not terror related" apparently So he was white then I'm guessing. The fact this scumbag has caused terror is terror related. Agreed. Terrorism needs re-defining. Any mass killing event like this should be deemed as terrorism. Instead we get the current nonsense, and then somehow society ...

1-0 loss, ultra borefest to try and conserve energy, from tired legs now to thinking about next week's 2nd leg. Fulham now on the beach and a bit lethargic also. Lapse of defensive concentration towards the end. You Irons.

Re: Sobriety

Great post. Had a lovely dinner yesterday with one of my best old mates and his Aussie fiancée, they drink but like normal rather than the type of weird "can't trust people who don't drink" types. Anyway they didn't have alcohol last night but wouldn't have minded if they did. What followe...

So it could be : 1. A bruised spine 2. A hip flexor strain Probably a bit of both , so depending on the severity and how they treat it , might be anything from 1-3 weeks or maybe months to recover. Hopefully it's more of an impact than strain/tear issue. Whatever the period of rest , from previous ...

Re: Need a new car

Car help/troubleshooting please. I have a Vauxhall Astra GTC 2015, around 55k miles. Recently, I've been shifting from 1st to 2nd, and then upon being in 2nd there'd be little power until it suddenly kicks in, kind of like turbo lag. My car does have a turbo so maybe it's that? Today it was doing it...

Re: Bowen, didn't we improve in the Wolves second half without him? Yes, major loss, but let's not allow that to ramp up the pessimism. Going back to my previous post, the English league is generally stronger than the German league. We also tend to turn in good performances against good sides and cou...

Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

I'm hopeful we can come into the game somewhat pressure off, being away and with the media expecting Leverkusen will be very strong. Let's be honest, the German league is overall weak compared to our league, and we're sitting in 7th and have been very good in Europe recently. We have the big match e...

Funny how comms didn't mention it. Imagine if it was Liverpool v West Ham at Anfield and one of ours committed exactly the same challenge :crylol: Anyhow, great second half. Man Utd supporting missus was there, very rare occasion her going to OT, and pleased that she saw two sublime goals up towards...
