Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

a good player with poor stats for a crap club in a mediocre league being touted around like a two quid prozzie by the same shitehawk agent who we always go to in times of desperation is still a good player.

couldn't tell you the exact way its put to them, but allardyce put it bluntly on talkshite that sullivan told him not to bother with the cups.

Maybe Guirassy will be brilliant.

What does the club he plays for currently have to do with how good he'd be for us?
they're in the bottom three and he's got four goals to his name all season.

certainly seems gettable at least.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

everyone smuggle a few balloons in, blow them up and pop them simultaneously on the 10th minute. simple enough metaphor and would make a hell of a bloody racket.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

there's a certain wonderful dualism between moyes talking about how classy the owners are and how the supporters should be careful what they wish for, and then looking like a freshly necromanced zombie in the post match interview after an absolute hiding saying how much we need players but might not...

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

he talked about how seriously he was going to take it last time and was praised for it, which is easy to do when you've got a week till the next fixture.

we do have a midweek fixture this time but it's liverpool. i know which one i'd be fielding my strongest team for.

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

probably the most depressing aspect is that we've become one of those clubs where from the first minute, any free kick the right side of the halfway line is considered a great opportunity to stick it in the mixer.

we honestly just looked like we were playing in the wrong league last night.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

i joked about it earlier but if things don't look up before then, the last block of fixtures are an opportunity to throw someone in there who will at least resonate with the players on an emotional level even if they don't have time to do any real surgery.

Re: Welcome, Sebastien Haller

problem is he'll look at how we're setting up, our owners, our stadium, our manager and our prospects going forward and knows that there's a 100% sure fire way he's getting out of it come the summer.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

If we don’t make at least 2 signings in this transfer window then I won’t even judge him at all. No point. If we persist with a 34 year old RB twice per week along with an ageing Noble and pathetic Lanzini and Haller we just can’t improve... no one else would've walked into the job without contract...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

maybe the plan is to let moyes take the bullet of the nightmare run of fixtures before binning him off and getting sir trev in as a hype man for the run in.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

one of the more irritating factors is that our midfield has been massively problematic for years and the owners were gifted an £80m-odd solution to half of it from the youth academy, and only needed to fill in the rest.

Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

i think the allure of relegation is that to many of us it feels like something absolutely catastrophic has happened to the club already, something that isn't captured by the sky cameras. relegation and all its consequences would merely reflect how we feel. i don't want to go down, but i would imagin...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Would the BBC or Sky be interested ? the BBC talked about it on the monday night club, with all the panelists saying how lovely the owners were for spending over £200m of their own money on the club while sean whetstone of all people was brought in to argue the toss from the fan's perspective. i ge...
