Re: Not so Super Mario

sullivan's age old methods of whipping up a narrative, pushing it out through his usual channels and having the more easily manipulated within our support parrot it across social media still bearing fruit i see.

you're being played.

Re: A future West Ham manager in the waiting

the only reason i could see us going for them is that it would fit the sullivan pattern of going for the exact whiplash opposite of whoever we currently have in charge, only this time going for the age and experience angle.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

It has to be Rafa. We need a manager who can organise a team and make us solid. Unfortunately, we have a squad full of players that take the piss and don't work hard enough and they need a manager to crack the whip. There's no one better than him out there to do that. Whether we can get him or not ...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

hughton, moyes, rafa, allarydce are all cut from the same cloth. they'll all make us "hard to beat" which ultimately results in being "hard to watch" and definitely "hard to justify ****ing out the best part of a grand only to trudge to a radioactive open air sewer every other week". if we can't wor...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

How is anyone blaming the owners? Haller and Fornals were more expensive than the entire Burnley XI today. The manager picked the signings, not the owners. I said it from the start of the season and I'll say it again. We are a team without identity and as long as we dont have one we will be ****ed ...

you have to wonder if fornals starting is pelle's laconic response to the owner coming out in the press and trashing him for being a crap transfer.

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

imagine coming to a new country in your early 20s, already having the pressure of a big price tag and a misfiring team as you struggle for form and confidence, only to the owner of the club to single you out in the national press as a reason to fire the bloke who recruited you, 13 games into your fi...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

i think the last two games have been a massive misstep and show that he's under more pressure than he was after losing four on the bounce last season. sitting dead last we could've gone into that everton game with a negative mindset last season and struggled for a point, but pellegrini stuck to his ...

Just go and finally get Rafa.
complete the tick tock cycle of failing expansive footballing manager to pragmatic point grinder. another one from china too.

i do wonder how many people who advocate rafa time and again have ever watched his teams play.

we aren't winning this one by keeping the gate shut, so put every bit of pace we can into the XI and start with the mentality that we're already 3-0 down and there's 15 left to play.

Just to be clear, are you making reference to something involving David Sullivan? I don't know the story you're referring to, so if it relates to Sullivan, I cant unequivocally make a judgement of Sullivan's actions versus the well documented human rights issues in some of the oil states that use s...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

The football under Moyes and Pearce in their last 6 games with a side theyd largely inherited was a lot better than we’ve seen in the last six under Pellegrini. Admittedly we did have Arnie but to mock Moyes as a manager because he’s not currently working is akin to doing the same with Wenger and M...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Newcastle United: Match thread (2/11)

we need to give up on trying to play with any kind of defensive stability. we actually look less like conceding when we just go all out.

start the next game how we ended the last three. can't be any worse.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Newcastle United: Match thread (2/11)

it should be one of snodgrass or noble to my mind. give fornals a start at 10 and tell him to stick close to haller.

don't want to see us playing for lofted crosses and corners again. had enough of that under allardyce.
