Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Dinamo Zagreb: match thread
Aerola, Masuaku, Kral, Noble, Vlasic, , Benrahma will all play! We can afford to play 4 of our under 23’s an expect to put a good show. People keep saying what if we get smashed, how about what if Baptiste plays a cracker and shows signs his ready for more senior football, we could have the next Ric...

Re: Takeover talk
Don’t mind it but Slightly nervous he hasn’t done overly well with Sparta Prague despite his billions they haven’t won that farmers league in almost ten years
Also a tad nervous he might turn us into a Czech wolves as well which I’m not sure I would be keen on.

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
Remember when the rumours of him signing were attached with him wanting a massive salary and many slagging his credibility off.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
Sadly I think Lingard will be the perfect pick up for Newcastle and a club Man U would sell to.
Lingard would also be a fair bit closer to home which we know means a bit to him given his mum’s issues.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Liverpool: match thread
Had a lot of respect for Klopp until today’s game.
Absolute joke his trying to claim the first goal as a foul.
I get sticking up for your players but that’s a piss take. Oh well Becker won’t improve if he thinks that attackers can’t get that close to him.

Re: ⚽ Genk vs West Ham Utd: match thread
Could’ve won, could’ve lost…. Europe wasn’t meant to be this easy so it’s not the end of the world. Positives Lanzini getting back to his best, going to be a real asset as the season kicks on Benny, amazing performance well played. Coufal got some minutes, clearly short of a gallop he will only get ...

Diop, Noble & Masuaku need to improve big time in this second half.

Re: Gold & Sullivan
Yep the move every other major football club owner in the world would have taken
I find that most that are 100% gsb out are also disenchanted with modern day football.
We get 62k to a mid week game and they whinge it’s full of tourists and families.

Re: ⚽ Aston Villa vs West Ham Utd: match thread
I thought the Benny to Lanzini move was to try and control the pace of the game a bit more
Worked very well Lanzini just coming in and out collecting balls and laying them off
Both played very well

Re: Gold & Sullivan
What a yawn We could win the league, Europa and league cup and people would still want GSB out You can’t give them crap for the way we performed under Pellers and then not give them some small credit when we perform well Deadset we could do something no owners in our clubs history have ever achieved...

Re: Manuel Lanzini (New Contract Signed)
Not worth the start…if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
I’m saying that he played a vital role when he came on, controlling the pace of the game, playing simple balls at a time Villa was pressing. Was very good for his 30 minutes.
Starts in Europa for sure.

Interestingly one team took the cash and sold their 100 million pound star, the other club kept there’s.
Both have headed in different directions.

Re: Gold & Sullivan
On another note, we are currently competing on three fronts, with another to come in the form of the FA Cup. The likelihood is that barring a disaster, we will qualify easily for the next round of the Europa League, and that means more games in the new year. To maintain this level of competitivenes...

Re: Gold & Sullivan
I don’t disagree with what you are saying but I honestly don’t think modern day football will see you get the owner you want the club to have.
Football is a business and we are always going to have owners equally if not more focused on the business side of the club unless we get a Saudi billionaire.
