Re: Protests against the board being planned

Didn't the Baroness make a big deal out of how much easier getting to a game at Stratford would be when she was selling her BS dream upgrade of stadium to us?? Im pretty sure I read it more than once... Getting to Stratford itself is not too bad. Actually getting inside the stadium from the ...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Relegated or not, I wouldn't want to watch him again after this season. Even when he runs across the pitch pre-match these days, it looks as though he is running in wet cement. Sad if he even doesn't realise himself that his time is up. But how long has he got left on his contract?

We'll lose. Liverpool will completely dominate. I won't be watching.
Sad but true. I won't be watching either.

Big possibility right now we'll go down on the weekend of my stag do, classic West Ham.
The 2003 relegation day I was in Rome on holiday. Come to think of it, I've lost count of the number of times that West Ham have ruined my life.

Re: ⚽ Liverpool v West Ham United:Match thread (24/02)

For different reasons, I don't want to see either Noble or Masuaku play in this match, perhaps again this season even. They are both a liability that we just can't afford now. Mark is finished, it's not just that he is in such bad form but mostly that he just doesn't have the physical capability of ...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)

Well, the first City goal knocks his 'plan' for six, which is probably around what the final score will be. Ridiculous team. Get the players who will play in the really important game against Southampton used to playing with each other. That includes Anderson and Bowen.

Re: Little things that irritate you

On driving, the standard imo has dropped considerably in the last decade or so. Driving used to be a pleasure when I first started but these days it's sheer purgatory largely because of the idiots behind the wheels. How some of them passed their tests is mind boggling.

Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

I thought Villa looked quite good going forward but their defence was pants, on a par with ours, perhaps even worse.

Re: Little things that irritate you

Just out of curiousity and boredom, I started compiling a list of things that irritate me. These were all to do with modern life today. I have got to 139 things so far. However, the list does include quite a number of people I can't stand to look at or listen to on TV and radio. Yes, I have become a...

Martin Peters.
Probably on the same technical level as Lanzini and Fornals. Works hard.Good in the air. 2 footed!
Good shot (according to YT clips..)
Great debut,all things considered.
Martin Peters? You jest?

Just looked at our remaining fixtures again, can’t see us getting more than 10 or 12 points. I think we’re going down :(
A team that goes through a whole season with one goal shy centre forward deserves nothing.

Give him the option to leave if we go down?
That seems logical but doesn't seem to have entered the bargaining. If it had, it would probably have been completed by now?

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

If the hold up on Bowen is (as Ex says) that he doesn't want to sign a contract that halves his wages if we get relegated then I can't see how we will get him. According to Ex again, all the other players have this in their contracts so to make an exception for one player is not on is it?

Re: Away fans in the West Ham Sections.-Where do they get the tickets?

In the Bobby Moore upper on Wednesday, I was surrounded by at least a dozen Liverpool supporters. The ones in front of me gave themselves away by filming nearly every Liverpool corner, free kick or attack. Lot of filming going on!

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I have to say that having read the posts on the past few pages about this Bowen bloke, I have laughed out loud several times (and I'm a miserable git normally). My wife has asked me if I am going mad several times too.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

C&H reporting that we should expect no further incomings as a senior figure has indicated that they are finding it hard to get anything done in time now. What a surprise.
