Re: ✍ Welcome James Ward-Prowse

If we were a possession based team I think we would see a better player. He's not really built for how we play now.

He ain't gonna change now. He is what he is. If he stays the tactics will be constant.

Tarkowski and Co will do their usual borderline thuggery. Hope the ref will not tolerate it but they usually get away with it. Paqueta will be their number one target.

Very happy with the win but if I see Antonio in a West Ham shirt next season I might well be done.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Today will be dismissed as a 'one off' by Moyes when even Stevie Wonder could see this has been coming for quite a while. I'm just cheesed off with Moyes's style of football anyway. Hoping for a change in manager next season but not holding my breath. Nothing will change much anyway whilst the cance...

Re: ✍ Welcome James Ward-Prowse

Not really been impressed with his general play all season. A bit lightweight in the tackle and not much in the way of incisive passing. His free kicks and corners have tailed off too lately. Hoping he can make more of his general game for the rest of the season but so far I've been disappointed he ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Why are people still hoping for Moyes to go when he himself said negotiations for renewal are ongoing with the club? I'd like a change myself as I don't like his style of football at all but looks like he's here to stay for another couple of years at least.

Re: ✍ Welcome Kurt Zouma

Is he arthritic in both knees I wonder. It looks painful when he does those side passes where he's almost bent over as he kicks. Plus the passes are hardly ever hit with the right weight as the ball makes it way slowly across the pitch. His heading is his saving grace but we need to replace him next...

If we get another couple of bad injuries tonight, at least we'll have an hour and a half left to sign replacements.

Roll on the summer transfer window when we all wait for four months before we scramble to sign someone we've never heard of on the last day.

If nothing else, I have so far thoroughly enjoyed the comments on this thread throughout the day. Especially the sarcastic ones and the ones where you are not sure if the poster is being sarcastic or not. Well done to all concerned. :scarfer:

Re: January transfer window

If we don't pull in a LW, which seems pretty likely, I suspect the formation will be Bowen & Kudus in front of Ings, until Pacman returns. Which is maybe not the worst thing in the world, but I'd feel a lot happier if we had anyone reasonably reliable* who could provide some alternatives to the...

Re: Jesse Lingard

Exactly, can we just put this one to bed once and for all? The Lingard of 3 years ago is long gone and there is no way he would have anywhere near the same impact if we signed him today. Think Patrice Evra or Samir Nasri, a free agent who will simply come collect their wage but whose best years are...

Antonio's had a nice lie down with no real news about his return so our bench is gonna look paper thin if Benny and Pablo go tomorrow. Worrying.

I doubt Moyes would sign anyone who's only just over 4 foot. Even a winger.
