Re: Midweek games

For a side with such talented players , Real Madrid are playing a very very low block.

Re: Midweek games

To be honest they could have played another 90 mins and Arsenal wouldn't have scored. On that showing is Saka better than Bowen? He didn't make an impact on the game at all , and that last second corner was trash.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Makes me laugh people tune in to these things then take umbrage (fake or real)then plaster it in other sites for many others to see that wouldn’t have or couldn’t give a s*** about anyway. I give a s*** when there are people saying they are WHUFC fans trying to destabilise the club, whether by crea...

works both ways
So you think the squad that got us 3 years running into Europe and won our first trophy in 40+ years, plus quarter finals of Europa and EFL are dross?

It's taking years to get rid of the dross that Pellegrini lumbered DM with.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

The Board, Sullivan, would never remove a manager because of "haters" in the fan base. Yeah many fans don't enjoy the football anymore but its not like we're 18th in the table and entire stadium is screaming for change. Moyes has done everything asked of him and more. He'll be a legend he...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

‘The board, if forced by the DM haters to remove DM’ This implies the board has ever cared what the fans think and assumes Moyes leaving isn’t his own decision Well it seems they must have 'cared' because they got rid of DM for Pellegrini because they thought he'd provide a more expansive entertain...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

So we'll get rid of Moyes, a manager who's had us in Europe twice, and then bring in a manager who specialises in keeping teams up by playing functional hard-to-watch football? Don't see it myself. That's why I want DM to stay because that is what we'll get as a replacement. The board, if forced by...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I still think Sean Dyche will take over if DM leaves . Great friends with the board , has PL experience of keeping Burnley up on peanuts, well organised in defence , and a relatively safe pair of hands. How much power has Steidten really got over managerial appointments and transfers? No-one knows f...

I haven't got a clue but maybe he's waiting to see how things pan out with Steidten. Could be other reasons and it's all speculation but the contract is there , he said so to the press and it hasn't been denied by the owners.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I don't know why people think the players dislike Moyes. I think it has been very obvious over the years that they don't just respect him, they like him. Not every single one of them, of course. But the vast majority and the collective have. It's the fans that don't. You don't speak for me (or prob...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

DM said the contract is there on the table for him to sign , so I don't think one can blame Sullivan for 'dragging out' the contract agreement.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Know a couple of Everton fans, they think Dyche just turns the wheels and doesn’t build - but they believe Moyes does. Without meaning to re-open the debate you can see how they would think that from both their experience of him and the difference between West Ham from when he joined to now. Dyche ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Actually it was saved us from relegation last season while he was the manager. Is that good or bad on his cv Offset by winning the Europa Conference but it's obvious a thin squad can't play Thursday /Sunday forever, which is why I think we've overachieved this season by getting the 40+ points tally ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I would like to thank DM for a couple of great years. Especially the highlight, winning the ECL. But 50 per cent of that was also the achievement of our best player of the last few decades, Declan Rice. Perhaps the best defensive midfielder in the world. He was the leader of this team, especially d...

Football fans are fickle and will always bay for blood whoever they get as manager, especially when the losses build and relegation looms.

Re: Midweek Games April 9-11

Pickford's brain farts are becoming too frequent now and he seems as highly strung as Hart used to be. Southgate is loyal and he'll still be number 1 in his eyes .
