Re: Who was responsible for signing Roberto?

This deal has Sully's stamp all over it:

1. Freebie. Check.
2. Low wages. Check.
3. 2 year contract. Check.
4. Unlikely to be used. Check.
5. Not likely to want to play 1st Team. Check.
6. Past his Best Before and desperate to sign anywhere. Check.

Sign him up says Sully.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I read, that Spurs shelled out £ 30m to get Jose, so £ 20m to get rid of Poch and his Team and £10m increased wages to get Jose Team in....... If that's right and imagine its similar if we want to get rid of Pelle, well maybe it will be £ 15m to get rid of Pelle & co, and zero to get a new manager a...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

We have been sold this line for what seems like a lifetime. There's no money , so, clearly, the operating costs of the club far exceed their wealth, so they should do the honourable thing, sell up and quit No chance, they won't sell up until the 10 year anniversary of the OS deal, so they don't hav...

Sully just looks at free transfer and can we get his wages down and we'll never need a spare goalie anyways.............

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

Pelle out Sully in !! Yay.

That would save £ 10m + Employers NI + travel and away Ticket for Pelle friends and family, what's not to like about that ? Plus we'd never lose. Surprised Sully not done it already.

Re: Welcome, Sebastien Haller

He seems to have lost interest since the 1st days here ?

Seems to have coincided with Pellegrini saying he wanted more from Haller - Maybe he's thinking well give me the ball in the box and some people around me and things may happen ? Happened before, Zaza, Callieri. Does it happen at other clubs ?

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

The only silver lining of going down, would be that it halves the value of West Ham that Sully would get. Although he's banked a lot of cash already, from the Boleyn sale, the interest, the whatevers on transfers, and the increased worth of West Ham, from almost zero to c. £ 300m. If we went down I ...

The players definitely not playing for him, but very unlikely Sully will cough up the Compensation.

Don't forget Fabianski "will be like a new signing" in a few weeks.

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

There's no doubt in my mind that Sully never ever intended us to get into the Champions League. It was a great soundbite for him. The Sully Business Plan clearly involved selling the Boleyn to developers & making a nice cut on that. On top of that, get a super-cheap deal at the OS, anything the fans...

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

They can’t improve the valuation by spending money and making us 5th to 7th (the amount needed would be more than they’d make). They can’t increase the value by acquiring the stadium (due to all the long dates ***** contacts which it’s committed to). They increase their retention of any sale value ...

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

The Premier League have sent me a response following my complaint to them about how West Ham United distributes the Away Tickets and the total lack of transparency. I don't think the Premier League follow the OSB is hand-picked by West Ham and has no independence (as mandated by Premier League rules...

Re: West Ham say pay to have your say in club affairs

Its such a shame its come to this, but the influx of TV money into our game, has absolutely transformed its fabric and make-up. I don't see this app is targeted at the "Old School" fan, but more at the "Popcorn" fan, its just aimed at a different generation. It could be quite a lucrative money-spinn...

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

As was mentioned earlier, Manchester United do release information about Away Tickets allocation on their website, here's an extract, is this the kind of information we need from our own Club ? If they did give us this it would help to build bridges with the fanbase ? https://i.postimg.cc/jjkfKJ76/M...

I don't think you can make that assumption.
I think you are right. Making that assumption is essentially guessing the number of AST and does not help figure out where are the Away Tickets going, which is the point.

Do we have the minutes of the OSB meeting as regards the Away Tickets somewhere ?

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

Still good to get the ID of the Away Ticket. If they recycle the numbers then the highest number reported is approximately the number of tickets issued.

As that seems to be 633 so far then likely it really is 700 issued.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

I didn't turn up until about 3:15 one of the games last season and there wasn't any sign that they were stopping letting people in. Why do they do this ? Sometime ago my Partner, a nurse, had an emergency and got to the Chelsea match at half-time. She arrived in her nurses outfit & they refused her...

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

Worringly, it's the lack of humility from the club, the lack of any acknowledgement of their very real part in upsetting and continuing to upset supporters that causes the distrust between supporter and the clubs Board to be what it is. At what point will the clubs Board realise we are supposed to ...

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

All the grey areas are caused by the Club. Its the gentrification of the support, to minimise the negative publicity of the Board and increase the valuation of West Ham for the Board's personal gain. I doubt we'll ever get answers, unless the Premier League step in and do some form of audit, would l...

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

I have been in communication with West Ham & Premier League, asking about the Away Ticket allocation process at West Ham. When I was not happy with Jake West Ham answer, I escalated it to the OSB. This resulted in Sean Whetstone writing directly to me (probably as I had asked how did Sean manage to ...
