Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
They should be very jealous, they last won a European trophy in 1985.
Whilst we just won one down to Moyes, despite the Board, we're not likely to win another for another 60 years if you look at trends.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Moyes is not in charge of buying the players, he plays what he's got.
Benrahma and Fornals were sold by Sully and/or Steidten & Sully has got form for pulling the rug in exactly the same style right from underneath Big Sam and Slaven. When Moyes was nowhere near us.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Got to say that win's all down to Moyes. He put Cresswell on to push Emerson up a bit and the rest is history.
Super David Moyes, we got to start singing it again !!!

Re: Postecoglou: are the cracks beginning to show? [non WHU]
Quite interesting about Ange trying to deflect about the Champions League. its utterly Mission Critical for them to get Champions League football, as it gives so much revenue, it enables you to sign better players, fans feel they're at the Top Table, so many positives. Its Fake News to say its unimp...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
I highly doubt Moyes said get rid of 2 established players, Benrahma & Fornals and replace with this Philips. Honestly, the guys given us this golden era and deserves way more support than he gets. Given a thin squad by Sully & Steidten. Sully's got form and Steidten didn't know what he was ...

For those who think Tim Steidten is the Second Coming, presumably he's responsible for bringing this Philips here ?

Re: ✍ Welcome, Kalvin Phillips
Well its ok giving it back if you are amazing, but he has been literally given a golden hand to get ready for the Euros, he's got a red card, a poor pass resulting in goal against was it Burnley so we did not win ? Not much running or effort generally, penalty given away out of nothing today, didn't...

That is so bad, wondering if the players hate him as well, like we're working so hard and you've just cruised in on a huge salary and are useless ?

Possibly the most disappointing loan for us ever. Surpasses Zaza.

That's because its a rented bowl and there's no provision to pay to play West Ham Women's Team there.

Re: West Ham United v Aston Villa: match thread (17.03.24)
Just got home and not seen the replay yet. But it took 6-8 minutes for the last goal to be ruled out, so how can it be clear and obvious ? If that was in front of the Kop, it would be given, there's a lot of psychology going into this and the refs are not strong enough to stick by what they see. The...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Going to be hilarious if Sully lets Moyesiah go in favour of Steidten. Then Steidten picks manager. Then the undermining starts & Sully stops signing the cheques & there's a right royal meltdown. We no more in Europe manager leaves Tim leaves & we become relegation fodder & our best ...

Really nice to see him smiling happy playing on front foot.
Same for Fornals. Good on them both.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Good to see the tide stemmed and we get our 1st win of the year on the board. Brentford were better than relegation candidates and they are a bogey Team for us, so all good. Winning a European Trophy and being in Top 10 for the last seasons under Moyes is extremely successful. We have not won a trop...

Re: January window 2024 - explanation from the club required??
Exactly, its a captured market for Sully. Like we can go elsewhere.
The man has to go and he can't go with the windfall he wants, the taxpayer built the Stadium and things may change with a change of Government.

Re: January window 2024 - explanation from the club required??
Yes its very much standard fare from the dwarf. The "Customers" have paid to the end of the season, Premier League next year is guaranteed, Europe is a distraction, need to get some cash to the next manager. Or to Moyes if he stays in the summer. If I sell there's more in the bank. Did it ...

Re: Tim Steidten - How should we assess his contribution?
That is so sad that he is flirting Liverpool already. Just 1 year into a project here Shows me Sully finding it really hard for someone else to cut the deals someone else involved in a massive part of his investment & that Sully believes he is the best Director of football going. Tim thinking wh...

Re: 👋 Farewell, Pablo Fornals
Saw some of the game, saw close up of Pablo, definitely saw him smile and not seen that in a long, long time.
I am very happy for Pablo as he bought us a lot of joy in his time with us, he got us, he did anything he was told for us, he will always be part of us.
