Re: Top Reds

The sense of humour for one is still there. I would like to see them try to recreate that virtually. Even my most recent game at the LS the two blokes aged about 60 in front of me and my family were the funniest I remember. They were great and you just can't bottle that. The humour, even the gallow...

If we have five years in top 6 then we will be at a different level. We'll see.

Re: Rooney at Derby

When he broke into the team at Everton he had to be taken to one side by the management there as he was riding his BMX to from training and getting a bag of chips on the way home. I also heard that they found out he was playing kickabout with mates using garages as goals and had to have another wor...

Re: Top Reds

I thought it was an interesting article. Despite being a supporter for many years going to loads of games throughout my life I rarely go now so I suppose I could be called a fan. I understood what the match going Liverpool supporter was saying about ticket prices etc and I guess young fans of Liverp...

Re: Michail Antonio: club legend?

Legendary people need to be having their exploits recounted with awe and reverie many years after the fact, either by or at least to people who couldn't possibly have been there to bear witness to those exploits because they were too young/not even born yet. So, eye-witness accounts become stories,...

I cant say I'm all that excited by hozelock. I think defences are no where near what they are like here and he will struggle. Not only that he just reminds me of a brand of garden watering equipment.

Re: Times we were really rubbish.

Plenty that have already been mentioned, but surprised this hasn't.. One of the times that I was pig sick was when we played Birmingham City in the League Cup Semi Final 2nd leg in 2011.They were bottom of the League with an average of 0.8 Goals per game.We were 2-1 up after the first leg and scored...

Times we were really rubbish.

Hi all, Was disappointed as everyone today to not pick up three points and even if we scored late on it would have been barely deserved. Or would it have been? .....You make your own luck and we almost got an equaliser against a Leeds side who really shone today. We are obviously a decent side and w...

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Leeds Utd: match thread

It pains me to say it but Mike Dean had a decent game today, I'd be the first digging him out if he'd had his usual game against us so only fair to say when he had a rare professional performance I agree, easy to say this when we win but after losing its a even fairer shout. It was an entertaining ...

Ah, there’s the old West Ham I used to know.
They weren't that bad, could have had an unlikely equaliser. We used to be really really bad at times.
