Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Not only - I might have misunderstood you, but I thought you implied that with Rice leaving and new owner Moyes would just leave of his own volition (meaning no pay out). Apologies, I'm reading too much in between the lines ) I agree though - we stay up regardless. IMHO we were never threatened actu...

There's too many variables in here for them to pull this off successfullyDoc H Ball wrote: ↑Fri Jan 06, 2023 11:11 am Owner trying to sell, Rice off and Moyes then likely goes whatever happens. All they’re trying to do is stay up and then get out.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
I'd be very happy to see Potter take us on but I'd be very surprised if Chelsea sacked him. The new owners explicitly said they wanted a manger for the long term to develop and grow the team. It's possible that they've already priced in an underwhelming first season. Are you talking Chelsea or us?

Re: Declan Rice
He will be next England captain so no question he is the best candidate for being our captain Whatever he will be wherever at some point, there are plenty of questions to be asked of him today - as evidenced by this discussion. He's not been perfect at this captancy thing, has he? Noble didn't capt...

Re: Declan Rice
...learning leadership can take time and there arent many good ones knocking around. Rice will one day be a very good leader but right now he is growing into it and it is harming us. I would argue that leadership is a completely different skillset. Rice might be too young or he might be not suited ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
The way I see it, it's a similar situation to when we lost our FA Cup quarterfinal against Man Utd under Bilic -the team lost a bit of an edge in terms of motivation. We carried on a bit because it was our last season at UP, but things were never quite the same. I don't find it too different to the ...

Not too sure Gsb want the cup in the first place, but regardless they would probably spin yesterday as a masterclass in efficient team investment

He was LITERALLY not allowed to join us :crylol:. Honestly some people really choose to ignore facts. Poor old Jesse. Can’t think of anything to force the move to relive his 6 months of happiness. Well then, rot on the bench. He likes them so much, his boyhood club - it’s almost mutual. SQUAD! The ...

I really don't want him here. He could've pushed for a move earlier, let him rot on the bench.

I know it's the same every January, but I love how they add a new flavour each and every time to keep things exciting. All these years in the porn industry have really taught them something!

I’m worried about today. No idea why, just have an irrational feeling something’s up. I don’t like playing them twice in a week.

Fair enough - fwiw this was avoidable all along, his arrival to AUS made him and Australian Open look like complete mugs. Re: Coronavirus
I don't think he looks silly at all to be honest He is an ultra-health freak who shuns pretty much anything unhealthy since he has gone Vegan. I don't blame him for not wanting to put a vaccine in his body whilst he is still playing And whether he does or not, should be his business and no one else...
