Re: Welcome Tomas Soucek

Really thought someone else might nip in and steal him away from us (even though it was a "done deal") so I'm delighted with this news.

Totally agree. In fact I've thought the same since the weekend.

And what better team than West Ham to roll into town when you need a reaction.

Sterling's stock is falling as fast as Payet's is rising. He had another shocker yesterday. I'd be amazed if we see him again.

Re: England vs Wales

I've been saying this for years but also agree with RD breaking down a parked bus is extremely difficult . A decent start all things considered but surely we must start the next game with the XI that started the second half. Not a fan of Hodgson's but credit where it's due to change it at half time...

Agreed Dyl. Even more so if you swap the word "Belgium" with "England".

Last night should have been all about fine tuning a settled team and formation just days away from the Russia game. Instead, he had players out of their best positions and miles apart. Vardy and Kane should have been closer and supported by Alli further forward as at Spurs. I can't help but think h...

Well that ladies and gentleman is what you call a West Ham result  The glory in the cusp of our hand, only for it to slip through when you least expect it. Then like my dreams they fade and die! It's why we support us though, when we finally taste glory it will be all the sweeter. West Ham til...

Re: Little things that irritate you

The use of certain words in branding of products to crank up prices. The prime example for me is the word 'Farmhouse' Lets call a loaf 'Farmhouse bread' put another 20-30p on the price. Err....its still bread A hotel does a 'Farmhouse breakfast' Surely worth an extra quid or so. Again, its still ba...
