It must be a galling task at the moment for you, Steve, so many thanks for your welcome (though often depressing) links.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I am not very savvy when it comes to the workings of a team in the Prem so you will probably laugh at what's coming next: Surely the players themselves must know that the manager's tactics are not working and the team is headed for the drop. So is it beyond the bounds of possibility that someone, sa...

Re: ⚽ Burnley FC v West Ham United: Match thread (09/11)

Anyone know what Ginge is doing at the moment. We need a great big orange hard man to give us some muscle at the back. Though Oggy and Diop are both big and tall they are as soft as ice cream.

To whoever stole Declan Rice: can we have him back please. This lookalike is rubbish.

Re: Antonio could be sidelined for "three to four months"

OK, So he picked up the injury last night, but assuming he didn't play v Newport who's to say he wouldn't have done his hammy within 5 mins of the game on Saturday.

I am truly gutted for the lad, and for the team. He is a force to be reckoned with and we will miss him.

Not since last week have I seen a more abject performance...A WH win does not seem very likely ATM.In fact, I'll take a draw right now if it was offered.

Re: Pedro Obiang

So Pedro has left us...Is nobody going to say thanks? I thought he had some great games for us, especially under Slav. OK, he was a bit naff towards the end of last season but I still have happy memories o him, especially that goal against the Spuds. So farewell  , Pedro and thanks for all you...

To all those slagging him off for the manner in which he left us, remember this: To err is human. To forgive is divine.

I can just see Antonio sharpening his header practice whould the little maestro return.

Come back Dimi...All is forgiven.

Re: Rafa leaves Newcastle (Non WHU)

I’m with Aceface. I can’t take any pleasure in this one. Proper club with a bit of history and loyal, long-suffering supporters get shafted over and over by horrible owner. Too close to home. There are plenty of others ahead of them in the queue of those I’d happily see fighting relegation. ^^^ Thi...

A guarded 'yes' always provided he would accept the strictures imposed on him by Pellers. I see him as a better option than was Nasri and I think he could still bring a touch of magic to the team.
