Re: ⚽ Everton v West Ham United: Match Thread

He didn’t though did he? Do you know what “strolling around” actually means? You do know what “running” is don’t you? Do you ever admit you were wrong? I saw him strolling around and bottling every little challenge, like he has done most weeks. Hooked at half time says it all. He has so much talent...

2 assists in his last 3 starts. B'mouth keeper made a great save from his acrobatic volley. He's 14th in the league for tackles made this season already, 2nd highest amount for a winger. Covers 10km a game.

"Strolling around".
Strolled around really well in that first half, Patito

3 points and post match celebratory beers in Liverpool. :scarfer: Anderson to get one.
Anderson needs to wake up if he is to get a goal. I wouldn't even start him the way he has been strolling around recently

Re: ⚽ Brighton & Hove Albion vs West Ham Utd: match thread

Have to question Pellegrini. What sort of line up was that? How many times do we have to watch Hernandez as a lone striker. Snodgrass wide right? Oh for all those crosses to the big guy up front. The most bizarre decision of them all was bringing in Ogbonna and making him captain?! Have you say star...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Manchester City: Massacre Thread (10/8)

We were crying out for a DM to play next to Rice.

I and many others were banging on about it all transfer window. Like last season we will continue to get overrun in midfield. Pretty worrying Pellegrini hadn't seen that

I won't get excited over signing a player for the u23's. Where's the DM and back up striker for the first team?!

Ozza, I'm not shocked at all. I have the lowest expectations of the owners as anyone.
Im just surprised how many fans are letting them get away with it

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

22m spend. Where are we expecting to finish this season then? What have the owners told Pellegrini? Top 8? On that budget, they're asking for a miracle.

Questions have got to be asked of the owners if we don't spend some more money.

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

22m net spend and millions saved in wages..
No money to spend?!

Can someone at the OSB (haha) question where the money is? We got over 100m in TV money alone

At least the stadium move was worth it :eh:

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Id take Cahill on a free for a year. Would feel safer him playing than Ogbonna and you can't rely on Reid's fitness.

As long as it gives us funds for a DM/CM and a striker.

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

If we want to support Rice with an additional defensive minded CM or DM (which means them playing together?)... we should probably consider a change of manager too. Someone in the mould of Moyes or fat Sam. Unless we're saying Rice isn't good enough and needs replacing? Just asking for a confused f...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Im glad we had a game like yesterday that proves how much we need DM + that Rice can't do it all by himself.

Something a lot of us have known since the start of the window. Desperate for a player in the 'Kante' mould.

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

"Ex" at the start of the window said Pellegrinis first choice to replace Obiang, should he go, was Isaac Hayden.
Homegrown, good age, wants to come back to London.
Wonder why it hasn't happened.

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

So lets just say for arguments sake we have £12m available.

Would you prefer

A) Sign a DM for 12m and get a striker on a free/loan

B) Loan a DM and spend 12m on a striker

A for me!! 8-)
