Re: CL/Euro games this week

Better pretend you didn't know the score before she told you and then look suitably shocked and dismayed. Or be prepared to sleep in the shed for the next week or so. :) We don't live together. only been a few months, so haven't seen her tonight. She did predict a spanking tbf. I'll give her the ma...

Re: CL/Euro games this week

My significant other is a Spurs fan, she was at the game tonight. I've really had to reel in my dislike of them but, my god, the temptation is strong tonight. To be fair, it's her only flaw, albeit a major one.

Re: Joey Beauchamp - WH fans made me a scapegoat

Had the 'honour' of actually seeing Joey Beauchamp play for West Ham in a friendly at St Albans City that pre-season, 3-3 if memory serves me right. Shame how it all panned out. Remember being genuinely excited about his signing, bundles of ability.

Apart from pigmentation.....Karl Pilkington and Angelo Ogbonna are spookily similar...and no.....I'm not going to employ any 'An Idiot Abroad' references.

Gary Neville on Declan Rice prematch. 'He'll end up a centre back as he's not good enough to play that midfield role at the top level.' or words to that effect. This is why you were always going to make a crap manager and why Pellegrini's a great one. Clueless.

Clever of him, given he isnt on commentary.[/quote]

He is NBCSN to be fair and is being very balanced in his commentary.

6 years x 52 weeks @ 90k = £28,080,000 (before deductions).
Nice work if you can get it and the health scheme's accommodating.
The absolute folly of that contract. :scarfer:

Douse that kit in petrol, burn it, then blow up the ashes with a grenade and finish it off with hydrochloric acid....then do it all again just to make sure.

PZ showing how to conduct oneself as a professional footballer in a nutshell. Honest as the day is long and a completely fair and logical way of looking at his own situation. Classy player. Classy man. Hope he sticks around be it on the pitch or as a coach going forward.

Schurrle's goal for Fulham had more than a whiff of Bergkamp in his pomp about it. Technical perfection in two touches. GOTS contender maybe?

Can I just say, as well as possessing the ability to carry out glove adjustment whilst gliding upfield at full tilt in full control the ball, Felipe put in a hell of shift on the left going both ways. Pressing, harrying and regaining possession. Cresswell's resurgence has been hastened, in no small ...

Re: League Cup Semi-Finals and midweek games 8/9/10/2019

VAR's already doomed to failure when that penalty decision for Fulham against Oldham in the cup at the weekend was upheld despite the world and his wife being able to see what a blatant, delayed reaction dive it was. Makes a complete mockery of even trialling it if you're still going to make the wro...

Uniformly awful with the exception of Fab. Without him and their profligacy in front of goal it could have easily been 5, 6 or 7. Worst away display since the 4 - zip at Swansea.....probably worse. No redeeming features outfield save Xande Silva's brief cameo. Didn't see that coming, not in that man...

Re: Declan Rice

This manchild is the cornerstone upon which Pellegrini will be looking to fine tune this team in his image and to think Declan isn't out of his teens yet speaks volumes as to the way he's stepped up to the plate. He's quite feasibly the first name on the team sheet already. The mind boggles at how m...
