Re: Little things that irritate you

Literally round the corner from me mate. We if she doesn't mind a short walk, we have communal bays down our cul do sac (opposite an assisted living building) which is always safe.

Re: Little things that irritate you

Where in chelmsford may I ask.

I work in chelmsford but fortunately get a parking space at work due to being a manager, however, before then I had to find odd roads to park down.

Depending what side she is working at I may be able to suggest a road or two.

Re: Little things that irritate you

Had a phone interview with a director at a reputable financial firm, for hopefully my first job in the city. Initially was contacted by their own recruitment team last week and passed the initial phone part with them, leading to the one today. She said it was only for 15 mins but wanted to know why I...

Re: How far ahead should we be planning?

3 years for getting in first teamers and around 5 years for bringing in youth players. I think anything longer than that is just so unpredictable. If Pellegrini was ten years younger then I would let him have the best part of a decade to build a squad as he sees fit, based on what I have seen from h...

Re: If there was no West Ham ?

Chelmsford City for me.

Grew up in a West Ham family so always 'supported' them, but only really got interested in watching football from the age of 12. At that time, I was going to a few local Chelmsford games so I would have stuck with that.

Brilliant start to the season points wise, and it looks like we haven't really got out of 3rd gear yet. :scarfer:

Re: Too much money in football

That does show the class at the time. Nowadays would be a ditch Ferguson and smash and grab job for Banks.

I've only ever grown up in the premier league era but the money has definitely changed the game, and most importantly, loyalty of any player or staff.

Re: Your top three free kicks

Agree with S-H.

The man utd one was the only one I thought for sure it was going to go in as soon as he stepped up to it.

The palace one was probably better technically, the amount of dip is still impressive to watch.

Re: Live Football Streaming Links 2019 - 20 Season

Cheers as always Wembley. Does anyone know where to find a decent stream that I can cast from android phone to chromecast? I've downloaded mobdro which seems to work when streams are active but could do with a backup. Usually stream on laptop but got people over for dinner so will be handy to get it...

You are thinking pounds to a kilo.

A pint is 568ml.

Re: Pre drinks - Villa Away

I went to university at BCU, in the Perry Barr campus about a 5 min walk to the ground. Not sure how busy it will be nowadays on game day but the campus has a pub separate to the student bar (Hare of the Dog), which has a decent sized beer garden and very well priced (it has been 7 years since I was...

Re: Would you sell Declan Rice for £90m?

As others have said, I would sell him for 70+ as long as we used the money as productively as possible.

However, unless it helps improve our squad dramatically, I'd rather see him have a career with us and be our new noble (but better).

Re: Heating Watch 2019

Still a little while until I stick the heating on, but the wife is hinting. With a 2 year old we end up putting it on earlier than I would like.

Had our bathroom done a couple of weeks ago, replacing the radiator with a heated towel rail. Slightly nervous it won't work!

Club for me.

However, if the England team was made up almost solely of West Ham players (preferably ones that went through our academy), it might be different.
