Re: The Post Office Scandal

Yep. The fact that it's taken a TV 'dramatisation' to get this into full focus is disturbing. What if there'd been no such dramatisation? I remember the coverage starting in around 2012-2013, but the first TV programme about it (might be wrong here) was the Panorama documentary in 2022. Dramatising...

Finished the main story of Witcher 3. What a game, not really sure how else to explain it. 75 hours of enjoyment.

Re: Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeit

The insurance claim will be billions of dollars. If Baltimore survives as a working port has to be in question. I read yesterday that the minimum liability was calculated to something around $4bn. Obviously the longer the impact the higher that goes, but the bridge alone cost about $750m to build. ...

Re: Cold Calling - Bank Scams

Anyway, if I have the time, sometimes I'll try and keep them on the phone for as long as possible so it's one less scumbag trying to con someone else. I got to about an ...

Re: WiFi controlled gadgets

TP Link are Chinese aren't they? Also fairly easy to hack. It seems to be the router that is usually the biggest weakness. Get inside that then they can access anything you have linked to it. Still, relatively minimal risk, but I completely understand the arguments against having all your stuff rig...
