Re: Season ticket renewal 24/25

thats the beauty of it........the end of the day you have a choice. the world has changed over the 70 odd years your old man has been going over there. Im sure he could draw up a pretty long s**t list too......if things like stadium migration and how much money our owners have invested are a factor ...

Re: Season ticket renewal 24/25

just to be facetious....what exactly makes a football club exempt from every other business that puts their prices up due to factors like inflation, their running costs...shareholders and profits? Of course the club means a lot to supporters and i love it that Docs dad still plods over to WH...hes k...

Re: Season ticket renewal 24/25

Im still paying substantially less for my season ticket than I did watching Harry Redknapps WH almost 30 years ago. Admittedly the seats arent comparable :crylol: .................I dont want prices to go up of course, but when you take a step back do we have it so bad? ps feel free to delete this p...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

The only player sales that qualify as pure profit are those brought through the academy, so Havertz would not count. Chelsea will indeed get themselves out of it by selling 3 or 4 players such as Broja, Gallagher etc, but there will be pressure as buying clubs will have them over a barrel Chelsea a...

Every time I go over there it depresses me more I was hoping / expecting better last night **** performance from the team and the crowd Im not sure the atmosphere has been that flat for a long time. Obviously them scoring early and it being the usual comedy of errors didnt help....Ironically when t...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bournemouth - Match Thread

We were so ***** for about 80mins of that game, but were a cr*p pass away from a win and a clean sheet. Funny old game. similarly if we'd been hit for 4 or 5 we could have had no complaints. Another poor showing and another game where the buck needs to stop 'primarily' with the manager...did anyone...

Id say weve been more clinical is the biggest factor in that. Our percentage of chances taken was ridiculously high a few weeks ago

Re: Europa league tickets on sale to s/t holders

thats a bit different to weeks before the game essentially downgrading the status of our opponents in our clubs opinion. We all have the common bond of wanting win this game. I get why people like Pinky (I think it was) being charged that kinda money might be thinking a little harder about that deci...

not saying its not a good idea... but would certainly a pretty good motivator for an opposition that west ham dont deem good enough for me to pay 30 quid to watch play

Re: January transfer window

Soucek is very good defensively. The problem is that we have to do a lot more defending because of soucek. yup the downside to giving the ball away a lot is you need to keep having to win it back. Ok my frame of reference with Phillips is quite out of date and a risk because of that...but Phillips ...

its easy to forget how farcical things have gotten at this football club at times.
Ps I'd love Phillips...at some point we need to find some more energy and be better with the ball...that option for Soucek rotation will no doubt help that

Re: January transfer window

Hes still so young... While his record this season isnt nothing to shout home about... the 21 games is very misleading. He has only started 7 and played 712 minutes. His goal or assist record in the PL last season at 1 every 225 minutes was much more encouraging. Especially at 19 years old any idea...

Re: January transfer window

I get not wanting Gnoto because of his 'attitude'. But writing him off because of his 'ability'? I wouldnt for the simple reason that he is 20 ...and at 20 hes already ahead of the curve in achievements If the coaching team are happy with him than grand. Id say the one goal and 1 assist in 21 games...

because they edit words around to try and make your arguments seemed flawed. I enjoy a cathartic grumble after a bad game and pick the bones out of it.....some seem to prefer to just airbrush bad games away...each to their own I guess.

The front 3 were not even 2nd string, with the possible exception of Benni. Nowhere near as bad a performance as some are making out, especially when you factor in we played nearly half the game with 10 men and only lost to an individual error. The slaughtering of players who barely play and are mi...
