Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

Read that Bournemouth still owe £81 million in transfer fee instalments so will be selling as many as they can on top of Ake. Spurs in for Wilson for around £20 mill, Everton in for King at £15 mill and a few clubs in from Brooks for £15 mill. Personally would love to go for Lloyd Kelly but presume ...

Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

That won't work at all, for all the stick he gets Jorginho is a brllant pivot to pass the ball to, always offering, making the team tick, winning possesion they play completely different roles, I think lately Chelsea have looked far better with Kovacic who is superb and Jorginho playing his role wh...

Don't think you would see Chelsea complaining. Think it would be a terrible deal for us.

Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

Pretty sure Chelsea will try for him as Jorginho is on his way. Barkley has also not made the bench much recently so we can presume they will listen to offers for him too.

Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

Is there an evidence that Benhrama and Eze are particularly hard-working? As i understood it, Benhrama doesn't offer much in that respect, but his ability in the Championship is enough to make up for it Brentford are the second most high pressing in the Championship. You don't stay in that side as ...

If Diangana, Bowen, Benhrama and Antonio were our four wingers next season I'd be ecstatic.

Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

The list of 'outs' concerns me Pretty much anyone with a bit of flair or x-factor I get the point we are little over-loaded in certain areas, and have a couple of players who are not fully motivated, but do we want to get rid of everyone who is a little bit of a maverick? Yarmolenko and Anderson ha...

Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

You know, I could see us putting in a loan offer for Sime Vrsaljko from Atletico Madrid. Missed a lot of this season with a knee injury (hence a loan) but probably behind both Trippier and Arias in the thinking to be a starter there. Pretty sure we've been linked with him before, as well. Missed so...

True although if he's missing out on extra 70-80k a week by staying we might be forced into it.

Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

Soucek and Bowen in the bag. Strong links with Benhrama and Eze. All 4 young, talented hard working players. Are the board finally learning the lesson that going after big name has been's is not a winning formula?

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Watford: match thread

Keep hearing a lot of people saying a draw would be perfect for both teams. It really wouldn't and we need to go full out for a win. Bournemouth have two very winnable games against teams who have nothing to play for.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Just said in his presser he's not going to rush Bowen because he's got experience with players from the Championship. Yes like opting not to sign Maddison from Norwich as he wasn't good enough. Looks like another match of trying to keep the score down on Monday.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

He didn't try to outwit him. This was almost certainly a damage limitation exercise. And as I said last night, Moyes will, I think, be relatively pleased with the outcome. Goal difference could yet have a part to play in whether West Ham survive this season or not. Even Man City players weren’t sur...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Man City had conceded in 17 out of their 25 matches this season. Literally every team knows they are so vulnerable when you beat their first two lines of press. What does Moyes do? Play the most defensive line up with no technical skill of beating the press resulting in zero shots. Dinosaur who does...

Whoever made the decision has to be regretting it. In US they've cancelled something like 2 NFL matches in 85 years due to weather. Our healthy and safety standards are way too strict.

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United: MATCH POSTPONED (09/02)

I can only assume you are being sarcastic about good weather in Manchester, as the BBC reporting 44 mph winds currently. Away supporters treated just like stage props, moved on and then off once the performance finished. If we vote with our feet and don't go, would there be squeals about loss of at...
