Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Viborg FF: match thread

Hey it wasn’t the best game tonight. Didn’t help with 3 key suspensions, and the train strike affecting attendance. It certainly wasn’t like the Seville game. But we won. We have a 2 goal cushions and both our strikers scored ( wheywas the last time we could say that) Now for Brighton, we could have...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Just seen a clip on Sky Sports of Ajeti training for the first time with the hammers, also in the clip was Winston Reid. didn't look crooked or about to retire like many are suggesting

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Ajeti is not in the Basel squad for their CL game tonight. (Did read that he had a minor injury, but hopefully that means he is on his way here)!

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Sorry but Cullen is at best 3rd choice for the Noble, Wilshere position alongside Rice and may well be behind Fornals or Lanzini for it were both the first 2 out. I understand cover but when, before allowing a move, you start needing cover for the player who is covering the player who might be prov...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Grady Diagana out on loan is good for both player and club, plenty of cover in his position
However Josh Cullen out on loan, is good for the player, but where is the cover?

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

There is no way now that Hernandez is leaving, whether he wants to, or we want him to. There is only 36 hours or so left of the current window, no time for a suitable replacement. He is staying with us until at least January.

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

I remember a few seasons back, under Big Sam. He let Carlton Cole go at the end of the season, only to re-sign him a few months later. Now what is Andy Caroll doing?

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

I still think we need another striker. Silva hasn't featured in pre-season for the first team.
If they are looking at another CB, then Reid must be done.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017

By just having one fit striker available at the moment i fail to see how further the squad can improve. We must add to the pack quickly.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017

The problem with Fletcher was (IMO) the expectation that he was going to make the same impact as Rashford. At present he hasnt. I think the club should have loaned him rather than sell. Really hope hr does well next season.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017

Collectively last season the club made 2 giant steps backwards and as result undone a lot of good work that was made during the 2015/2016 season. However i feel that with the 2 confirmed signings of Zabeleta and Hart plus the imminent arrivals of Hernandez and Arnie the club have made a step forward...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017

I think Joe Hart is a great signing. I guess the negativity on this is because we haven't signed any forward players yet. If we had and then signed hart im not so sure many would have minded.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017

I can understand why some people doubt the signing of Gray. I agree if he joins he should start on the bench first. However he has premier league experience albiet only a short one but as a back up to Hernandez surely why not. Its made me think back to the 80s when we signed Hartson and Kitson. Most...

Re: West Ham Utd v Watford: match thread

I agree with Puff Daddy a higher calibre keeper is something we need although during the transfer window it wasn't the highest priority. Yes we have one of the best attack forces but if you can't defend what's the point. I think Slaven needs to tap Collins and Adrian on the shoulder and say thanks b...

I think it's been a decent window. Looking forward to seeing how Zaza gets on. And most importantly we still have Payet.

If we sign Zaza over this weekend as expected, do you think that's us done?
