Re: Jack Wilshere

We played far better at Arsenal though, didn't we? The reason is straightforward - it gives us space to play, room to break into. It was obvious last season too. For much of yesterday we either tried to play through too crowded spaces centrally with intricate football, or just lofted percentage cha...

Re: Jack Wilshere

Wilshire is currently the 5th highest rated 'dribbler' in the league....- his pass accuracy is 90+% in the last couple of games...... Surely, it's bleedin' obvious that this team needs to score first and then play on the break to maximise the pace of Arnie, Anderson,Fredericks, Masuaku, even Antoni...

Fabianski Fredericks - Diop - Ogbonna - Arthur Sanchez - Wilshere Yarmolenko - Anderson - Snodgrass Arnautovic *BEFORE THE ABUSE FOR CHOOSING ARTHUR* Toss up with Arthur and Cress for me, cannot drop Snodgrass and Anderson should play through the middle for me, just in that first half we lacked pac...

Re: Arsenal v West Ham Utd: match thread (25/8)

Really impressed with Fredericks, Sanchez, Anderson today. They played so well. I am not as dismayed by Diop as many. He will find his footing. Wondering why Yarmo is not getting a better look. Think Wilshere will find his footing and have a good season. Worried about Arnie, seems to be getting batt...

I am going to go 4-3-3 on any away game to a top 6 club. looking more like a 4-1-4-1 when out of possession. --------------------Fabianski----------------- Fredericks--Balbuena-Diop-Cresswell --------------------Sanchez------------------ --------------Obiang----Wilshere----------- ------Yarmalenko--...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bournemouth: match thread (18/8)

Why was Rice completely left out of the squad? Why did Diop not come on for Ogbonna when he hurt his hamstring? I think it had an effect. Ogbonna was one of 5 to let Wilson in and then Cook outmuscled him for the second. When will Anderson put in a shift defensively. Wilshere was really pissed at hi...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bournemouth: match thread (18/8)

But you would also drop Noble, force Wilshere to play deep and leave the absolute worst performer from last week in the exact same position... All logic goes out of the window when it comes to Noble. Logic hasn't gone out window. Rice should be the primary holding defender you MUST have in a 4-2-2-...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bournemouth: match thread (18/8)

Really surprised how many people have decided that we should abandon a high-line and attacking football so soon. Lose to a great team, abandon the plan. I say stick with the plan: -----------------Fabianski------------------ Fredericks-Diop-Ogbanna-Masuaku -------------Rice----Wilshere------------- ...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 27 days remaining

If Rice was going to be DM then I would have expected him to play there yesterday. He didn’t. Noble, Obiang and Cullen were our 3. And Wiltshire will replace Cullen in due course He was 4-3-3 yesterday, but with Anderson coming in and Hernandez starting, I would think that they will line up 4-2-2-2...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 27 days remaining

I have to think that Declan Rice will begin the season as a holding midfielder. Nice of Pellegrini to give Noble a run out there yesterday in that position, but Rice is the man for that job. No reason to go spend wildly on a DM, Rice will do the job. So: ---------------Fabianski-------------------- ...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 28 days remaining

Is it possible that Yarmolenko and Arnautovic will form a strike partnership up top? Yarkmolenko's game seems pretty similar to Arnautovic and his move to being a striker was brilliant. With Bernard as LAM and Anderson as RAM?

What do you think?

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 32 days remaining

Judging by the first friendly, we'll play 4231. There's no chance we will sign Felipe Anderson and Yarmolenko, no matter how much we need both. I thought in the first half that Fernandes was lined up as a striker and was not playing behind Carroll at all. It looked to me like a 4-2-2-2. In the 2nd ...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 33 days remaining

There’s no way Pellegrini’s had Wilshere on his supposed ‘wish list.’ We were offered him on loan last year but passed up, pretty sure young Jack Sullivan even Tweeted something to that effect. He’s been offered to Pellegrini it’s quite obvious. Bilic spoke about this, being offered other (cheaper)...

Boy, Reece Oxford is getting worse. +: Holland - looks like he has pace and can pick a pass Coventry - Liked his work ethic and took a wicked shot that was a good save Fernandes - I thought he looked very active and made some things happen - Oxford - Dreadful Zabaletta - Can not play that far forwar...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 33 days remaining

Not sure how we get all this negativity on the business done so far. Seems like Wilshere, Balbuena, and Yarmelenko are coming in this week. That is six really good additions to the squad. We still have a month of the window open. Just being negative to be negative.

Almost word for word what you would hear about Marko. Perhaps it was the coaching.

We pick up Anderson and Seri and perhaps we are a top 6 side.

Imagine having Arnie and Shaqiri in the same side and putting them both out wide with Peter Crouch and Diouff as your strikers. Shaqiri as a 10 and Arnie as a CF would be so nice.
