Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

No changes contemplated until end of the season. 9th at present, in the EL last 16, zero threat of relegation. End of the season, if we finish in a Euro place or win the EL, then he will get another contract, get knocked out and finish lower than 7th then a new man will be appointed. Kretinsky is k...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

i don't care about attractive football. I just don't want a manager who will oversee another transfer window without buying anyone. i also don't want a manager who allows us to give away players for a fraction of what they are worth / what we paid for them ...including Rice. our net spend is abysmal...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Style over substance is really not where I’m at. Judge a manager on every little aspect that makes up the whole: 1. Has he signed good players every window? 2. Has he managed the value of existing players? 3. Is the best youth team we’ve had supplementing our 1st team? 4. Are we making meaningful ch...

Same for Soucek and his goals.

Not a great footballer.

Pocchetino can have him for £35m.

Surely he’ll bite our arm off..?

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Ward Prowse had half a dozen assists before Scott stepped off the treatment table. Ward Prowse also looked great until Moyes bottled it and went back to a double pivot. He has never looked great. He’s a specialist field goal kicker. He’s a complete liability in defence and has not proved he can pla...

For me, whoever chose JWP over Alex Scott, needs to go.

I could make that list very long, but you get the point.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

For me, the only real question is whether we replace now, or let him see out his contract.

Why did he allow us to not strengthen in January?

Re: January transfer window

Why isn't Moyes making noises about our lack of signings?

This was his last chance to improve our chances of winning the Europa League.

Did he just fulflil the requirements made of him getting a new contract?

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Moyes has navigated yet another window with a net profit - despite glaring needs and an ageing squad.

His reward will be a lovely new contract.

Re: January transfer window

Broja loan fee is £4m

But it falls to zero, if he plays 10 games.

No option to buy, so it is another ‘big club using a small club’ deal, like us and Phillips.

Difference is that Fulham probably won’t pay for putting someone else’s player in the window.

Re: January transfer window

We are in the last 16 of the Europa League ...and we haven't signed a striker, a LW, or any defenders. People moan about us renting a stadium (for £2.5m a year) on a 99 year lease that none of us will see expire. ...but renting Kalvin Philips for a similar amount for 4 months is good business. We ar...

I doubt it for £15m.
He’ll need to be with the first team from day one.

Exciting move - hope he is as good as he looks.

Re: January transfer window

I like KP as a player a lot.

I also like that we have an OPTION rather than an OBLIGATION to buy.

BUT

1. How much is the loan fee?
2. What is the PURCHASE OPTION price?
