Re: West Ham United v Aston Villa: Match Thread.
It's all my fault my first game for a couple of years.
We seemed to lose our way in 2nd part of the first half. 2nd half Jenkinson found himself in space and there was no-one coming short to cause doubts in minds of the Villa defenceţ
Still good game we're unlucky not to win!

Great recovery to gain a point. On sky coverage didn't pick on dummy by Koyute for Downing's goal. They claimed he had "missed" the ball!

Carlton to time travel back to the Zola years when he was pushing for England squad. Holding up with ball at his feet not at head height. Plus usefulfor defending set pieces.

Re: POLL: The New Club Crest
Well better than the Club Version still don't like the London bit. Just feel it will make us the laughing stock among other London fans - much prefer the date of our formation on there. The time difference between us moving from being Thames Ironworks to West Ham United in 1900 is a matter of weeks....

Re: POLL: The New Club Crest
NO Although as I haven't brought any home or away kit for 3 or 4 years it really isn't targeted at the likes of me. If a 13 year old twitter user doesn't like it is probably more worrying for the Club. In my view its sends us down a slippery path how long before we are Westfield United? To paraphase...

Re: West Ham Utd v Manchester United: match thread
3 seats away from me in the Bobby Moore Lower some how a Man U fan got a ticket - assume via season ticket sell back and Club membership? Spent all his time taking homoerotic snaps of Ronaldo. As I was leaving stand seemed to be some aggro on the next section over - BML near to East Stand don't if i...

Re: alex ferguson why do west ham hate us so much?
For me growing up the media always bigged up them for the title it got so boring. Oh and Bryan Robson.ooh look who it is wrote:Because they win everything??
Who could forget the night off our obscene effort to stop the winning the title with Kenny Brown's rocket was it?

Re: Kia, Sheff Utd, Duxbury, McCabe and arbitration
I think its more a matter of principle than any compensation i.e. the fact that they are blaming us/Tevez for relegation when it was in fact their s***e performances and results over the course of 38 games which was the real reason for them dropping. For one thing it sets a dangerous precedent. For...

Re: That Guy On The Sky Pre Match Build Up
Everyone around me seemed to want us to win. So were these fans at the game? Seems a bit odd making the journey and paying the cash to want to see your team lose? Cant get my head around that one [/quote] hhhmm could it be Sky stirring it once again? 5 or 6 fans out of what 3000 fans  Ap...

Re: Ljungberg targets top four
Old Slaven said on Sunday after the game that we hadn't won because maybe the some of the players didn't have the mentality/pressure of playing for a Big 4 team. He meant that every game their aim should be the win and not to avoid defeat. Whereas Mr Sex obvious has the attitude from his time in Goo...

Would imagine with Parker and Nobby's injury he will bring in Johnny P and Spector into midfield. Maybe swap Cole for Ashton after the work Cole put in against Man Utd.

Not really surprising considering they had their first choice side out (with exception of Ledley King). We are missing the Golfer, The Swede (why wasn't he on the bench?), Flaubert, Dyer, Bobby Z and perhaps Ferdinand. In addition Deano, Noble and Parker no where near match fit.Singaporeiron wrote:
