Re: West Ham in the community

Apologies for the lack of replies to the above foodbank location queries, I've been travelling and not been able to log in to the forum since Wednesday. As Kialos has pointed out, Endeavour Square is the open area of the tall new buildings that you reach when crossing Westfield Avenue from Westfield...

Re: West Ham in the community

I know Northern Iron got the bums rush when he approach the club about being able to setup a “fans supporting food banks” project for the local area. (Suspiciously soon after, the club started the Players Project”) BG, just for clarification I never approached the club over this at the time. It was...

Re: West Ham in the community: Irons Supporrting Foodbanks

Some of you may know that I've been trying to set up a foodbank collection point at the LS on matchdays. I've finally received the green light from LS185 to set up a collection point next to the information portakabin by Endeavour Square, on the way in from Westfield. We'll be there 3 hours before k...

Re: WHUISA - WHU Independent Supporters Association

The "event" was my resignation, which I first tendered last Monday the 7th via the group's Telegram forum and followed up with a formal email two days later.. I would have assumed normal practice would have been for the remaining committee members to have announced my departure via the website and/...

Re: WHUISA - WHU Independent Supporters Association

Hammers United, in conjunction with the FSF, have reviewed, revised, approved and endorsed the proposal of Doc H Ball at our committee meeting held this morning in St Pauls. We have extended an invitation to WHUISA, as an independent organisation in their own right, to endorse the amended proposal....

Re: WHUISA - WHU Independent Supporters Association

Re: WHUISA - WHU Independent Supporters Association

[ Apart from the OSB issue I received no direct criticism, to my knowledge, during my time as chair. Don't recall any on here NI, bar when you met the OSB chap for tea and biscuits (but that was post Lew's appointment, I think?)[/quote] Boss, I was invited for a social drink by David Baker. I wanted...

Re: WHUISA - WHU Independent Supporters Association

One or two people seem to have an issue with me as WHUISA vice chair for the coming season and have set up this Save WHUISA petition. I’ve been on the WHUISA committee for 2 seasons and was elected a year ago as chair. There weren’t many applicants coming forward for chair at that time following the...

Sorry about that HH.

We’re in the downstairs room where we have to finish by 1230 as they will be showing the live midday football in there on the big screen.

Not that any members will need extra encouragement to attend the AGM at 1100hrs at the White Post Hackney Wick, but we have secured some exclusive memorabilia which will be raffled at the meeting.

I would urge people to support the motion and that WHUISA remains independent from the football club, or remain as a critical friend. Brady is impossible to deal with. Impossible. However change can come and really useful steps that will benefit supporters, such as working with other associations t...
