Re: Season ticket renewal 24/25
Someone with bigger spreadsheets than myself will have a better idea than me!! I have one question for anyone who turned/turns 66* and currently sits in Category 1-4, i.e., and paid for an adult season ticket this season but is eligible for an Over 66 concession Next season. Have you been offered t...

Re: Everton vs West Ham United Match Thread
Irons Supporting Foodbanks will be making our usual donation to Liverpool's Fans Supporting Foodbanks before the game. They always make a generous donation to us when they visit the LS. Any other donations from our travelling fans will be welcome. Their blue collection van is normally parked close t...

Re: UEFA Europa League 2023-24
A chef was talking to me earlier about Black Forest Gateau - not the mess you get in Harvester, but proper fruit laden mouthfuls of delight. Goes well with a Reisling apparently. Again, not the Blue Nun of our parents' courting, but top quality plonk. I'm already getting jittery :newthumb: Take the...

Re: Irons Supporting Foodbanks
A bit of an update on activities over the last few months: Our matchday collection point now seems to have been made permanent, under the roof of the Aquatics Centre on Stratford Walk. The club has also ordered a branded gazebo for us so we'll have an improved presence, rather than the stack of fold...

Re: Irons Supporting Foodbanks
Just a bit of an update on the Morocco support. Last week the club gave me almost a full carload of tracksuits and club leisurewear to send out to Morocco. Yesterday Umbro also donated some West Ham children's kits. Our contact in the Atlas Mountains is back in the UK for 72 hours and I'll be meetin...

Re: Irons Supporting Foodbanks
The club asked us to make last Saturday's collection on behalf of the Moroccan Relief Appeal.Nayef Aguerd has donated £10k, and other players are chipping in too. We collected almost £2.5k from both sets of fans (City put an appeal out on their socials for fans attending) and park visitors on Saturd...

Re: Ticket downloading
Thanks for the info folks.
I had the same problem, google wallet was still showing the Chelsea ticket.
I had to find the original season ticket email from the club and download the ticket from there. Not a brilliant use of the technology that's available.

Re: September 1974
Morning Micky, Irons Supporting Foodbanks established a bit of a connection with Rovers last summer, and I did a media interview with Mark Palios in the dugout. We're aware that Rovers do plenty in the local community and we had some sportswear donated from Umbro Manchester which I took along to Pre...

Re: Irons Supporting Foodbanks
We'll be back again on Sunday from 1.30pm collecting for local foodbanks. Ongoing building works on Stratford Walk this summer means we have been relocated for this game by the overhanging roof of the Aquatics Centre, still on Stratford Walk. In the 7 weeks since our last home game we've been able t...

Re: Wrexham (Non WHU)
Only time I ever visited The Racecourse was for a Wales Under 21 vs Northern Ireland Under 21 with the school - played on a Winter's night , think it finished 0-0 - can't say I was particularly thrilled to be there . . I think I was at that game too TOMOS. The Welsh team were training next to our s...

https://www.kumb.com/story.php?id=138107 Thanks for running the story UTJ. :newthumb: Just to clarify that the cash donations we received across the season totalled just over £29,000. With the £400 donations we make to HIS Church for their food pallets, these were each worth at least £2,000 each, an...

Re: Banned from first Europa League away game next season
i am not talking necesarily about this specific throwing incident as I wasn't at the game but as a team and fanbase we are 'new' to European competition. Other clubs have been dealing with European style antics of opposition on the pitch, with opposition fans and authorities off the pitch etc, for ...

Tony's book is released on 1st September. Viv from Newham Bookshop has confirmed that he will be doing a book signing there, date TBC. Viv does so much for the local community, it would be good to support her and buy or order the book there. It might be possible to pre-order, get them personally sig...

As last year in Paris and Seville, more poor organisation by UEFA and this year's hosts (message from a mate who went): If our group, me, John and Jill we're there. It was absolutely *****, we were in the queue for the UEFA shuttle buses home, as we had been told by all volunteers + UEFA staff that ...
