Re: If You Like Beer and Bands ...

Oi, you beer swilling, bike riding bassist, less of the feckin' sarcasm. We're all lovely down here in Devon. Apart from the cnuts, aresholes and twats. Where are you heading? If it's anywhere local you could produce a "live" review of a few beers from a couple of pissed up old geezers. Followed by ...

FWIW Mrs S will almost certainly have our tree down on the 27th.
And if she's anything like my Mrs, you'll have a paint roller in one hand and a paint brush in the other on the 28th :|

That's quite a chilling post Tenbury.
I'd never realised before that edit and diet are anagrams of each other. Oh yes, I am a tad on the fat side

Living in Bermuda atm. Had scrambled egg and crispy bacon in a croissant (which they seem to use for sandwiches here). Very nice.
Life is SUCH a bitch, eh Denzil?
Thanks for taking one for the team :D

Re: Best Ruby Murray?

That's the one. "Gurkha Kitchen" it's called and it's excellent. There's one round the corner near Maidstone East station and that is superb too. Really spoilt round here when it comes to Indians. Which one is best in your opinion GCRO? I'm around Maidstone at Christmas and will book one of them. K...

Re: Best Ruby Murray?

 If you have the time and can be arsed, make a batch of BIR curry gravy, you can cook most wet dished from that, its the spice blend at the start that is different for each ruby and dont cook it in a non stick pan, plain steel is excellent and you want the curry to caramelise on the outside C...

Re: Best Ruby Murray?

There's two Gurkha curry places near me in Maidstone. Believe me, it's the best curry I've ever tasted. Easily better than the usual Bangladeshi fayre that you get in your average Indian. I think it must have been one of these that I went in last Christmas GCRO, near Maidstone West station. Loved i...

The amount of blokes I come across who are wearing flip flops shorts and T-shirts when it is 4 degrees and freezing outside.
As far as fetishes go, that's pretty far out there.

Re: Social media shopping scams

I'm sure many will know this but no harm in mentioning if it helps. If you've got a bog standard current account with a High Street bank (I'm with Lloyds) you can set up sub-accounts that run off the back off your main one. Since I binned the credit card I set up a new sub-account purely for online ...

Re: Electric bike

My new bike arrived yesterday. Nice colour. Good fun wanging up the hill where I live without breaking into a sweat. I give it two weeks before it gets stuffed in the shed with the other bike and forgotten about. It's that kind of defeatist attitude that I wholeheartedly embrace MB. Welcome to 'Fat...

Re: Grady Diangana

Not 100% sure but I think he may have an injury of some sort. Grady was subbed at 53 minutes (whilst 2-0 up) in WBA's 4-2 win against Cardiff.

Unless we're in the brown stuff at Christmas I'd be inclined to leave him see the season out at WBA.
Would be like a new signing for next year.
