Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

How to react to someone 's mental illness. It's like your child coming out to you really isn't it? Everyone, hopefully, knows how NOT to react, but that's not really helpful. Everton replay at Elland Road, a brilliant night sadly unlikely to be repeated any time soon given how seriously we take the cups these days.

What a night that was.

Re: Bulgaria vs England

Whitey's got it. Chuck them out of this tournament AND the next, and at EVERY level so U18s ,U21s etc, if they want to live in the 20th century, they might as well leave their football there as well.(They're E.U.members if their young players want to develop their game at the top level they'll have ...

Re: Rugby Union World Cup.

I'd have a worldwide 2 or 3 div championship (the current tournament has shown that rugby fans from all over aren't exactly why when it comes to shelling out a huge pile to watch their teams).

Re: Black pudding

The best blackpudding is made from a pig you've just slaughtered, the warmth in the blood blends with the cereal etc. In the UK this is not allowed anymore, so the blood is reheated to make it,and you lose a bit of the taste( I had pigs at my last place, and made my own bacon/sausage etc to sell). Does anybody like this? I don't get it personally. I know loads of people who do and I am sometimes tempted to have a slice in my ups, but always think better of it. It always makes me think of a giant black penis
Have you discussed this with your therapist?

Re: Christmas Watch 2019

In the 90s,before the kids, etc, if I couldn't be on standby over Christmas, I used to rent a Transit van (in Kew, of all places), chuck a mattress, doss bag etc in the back and head for the Highlands. Parked up in a layby, I could walk for ages and never see anyone. Best Christmas ever.

Why do lorry drivers feel the need to put their name in the front of the cab?
Cos they're not as wealthy as the equally sad people with personalised registrations.
