Re: Plastic fantastic

I don't get this definition of 'plastic'. It's a term I'd use for the millions of people ,specifically in the UK, who 'support' whichever team is successful at the time,to which they have no other connection to whatsoever, usually ,and primarily, because they otherwise lead very sad and unsuccessful...

I know zero about them. My daughter,an interior design student, is doing a placement for a month over summer and needs something that can run programmes like Autocad,Sketchup,Rhino7,Enscape,maybe Photoshop(I've never heard of any of them). I guess this sort of kit is expensive? is there a second han...

Round here is 4X4 Central. Most favoured are Skoda Yeti (no longer available new buy a good late one) and 4X4 Pandas (really much better than you'd think). All Land Rover products are cack.

Assembled with sheets of good lasagne, ideally home made, It's got to be homemade.(not least so there are no overlaps or gaps). I'm not nuts about the nutmeg, unless it's not been grated before. As with all ragout,IMO, much better made at least a day before. I make half a dozen individual ones and f...

OFT, I think you've illustrated perfectly what really bugs me. I find individuals within the NHS, probably90+% of them, are skilled, caring and dedicated, but it's the lack of coordination ,cohesion perhaps, that does my head in.......but it's better than nothing ,I guess, and we'd be f*cked without i...

Many congratulations Peter,to both Daniel and you and his Mum. That really touches a chord with me. This time of the years coming up to what would have been my second child's 22nd birthday and, without being maudling, it's often made me wonder how things could have been different. We knew,if she could...

How everything has become so bloody processed and packaged. None of the rawness from even just a few years ago, don't recall who posted it, but I can't not believe that we're following the states with things like '3 , sixes ' and crap like that. Glastonbury for example, what ever happened to it? ht...
