Re: A Statue For Harry Kane (non WHU)

Mind you, there’s no point in putting it on display in public as in years to come it will be hauled down and shoved in a canal by some students as it depicts a white man wearing a shirt that celebrates a nation built upon the slave traders. Top banter!! https://youtu.be/c5FsadHcoVA?si=nzgugKIE0gqrN...

Re: The new kits thread

Can you imagine Nike messing with the US flag on their kit? And how well would tha go down in the USA? Dicking around with national flags on football shirts has been a thing for decades. This particular one was the stars (no stripes?) on a fake denim print: https://kitgeek.files.wordpress.com/2018/...

Re: Under the skin the story of West Ham United

Said it before, but we talk a lot about how unprofessional the club is in lots of ways... The Media team in recent years has been an *enormous* exception to that. Behind the Scenes vids, welcome vids, the Ironcast series, these mini documentary format things... All very, very high quality  :cl...

Rubbish performance, but even worse commentary.

"West Ham are in control. 0-0. West Ham are cruising. 0-0. West Ham are dominating. Oh, it's 0-1."

Have you ever watched a West Ham game before, lads??

Re: UEFA Europa League 2023-24

It is a bit farcical that 8 teams from the same league can qualify for Europe. Bad enough 6th and now 7th qualifies you. 8th is genuine midtable. I think - in theory at least - you could actually have as many as 10 or 11 Premier League teams in Europe now on the basis that European competition winn...

Re: Other games (fwiw) 2/3/4 March

What a piss poor league. No wonder the likes of Wolves went for a manager like Gary O'Neil. The standard is so bad, some owners know they have enough without spending too much. I suppose the same could be aimed at us too. Everton could be another example of how bad the PL is. Even if the 10pt deduc...

Have no idea if the stats back this up, but based on vibes alone we seem less threatening from set pieces since Dawson left.

Fair play he took that goal brilliantly. I didnt think he could do that That finish was special, but the gap between his quality of passing and quality of finishing has always been extraordinary, especially for a midfielder! Honestly think you could make a case for him being being the best natural ...
