Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

He suffered a cardiac arrest. As much I hate to say it, I'm amazed that he might even play top-level football again, let alone at the same level and standard he was before the sickening thing that happened to him. I wish him all the best of course. An excellent player and pro. It will be one of the...

As I said previously, his performance today was one of the worst I have seen in over 40 years.
He wasn't even in our worst 5 players today.

And sorry, but if that's one of the worst performances you've seen in 40 years then we must have been watching different West Hams all that time.

Re: Issa Diop

A lot of people are obsessed with him and at times it's like he's the only West Ham player that ever makes mistakes - which after a car crash performance like today's is pretty absurd. Diop was pretty crap today, but Cresswell, Coufal and Dawson were all worse and each made at least one mistake bigg...

Re: Declan Rice

Individually the best player on the pitch - different gravy - but if he’s going to play like that someone’s got to sit and that’s not Lanzini’s game. We’ve got two centre halves incapable of passing through a press and no holding midfielder in front of them to either protect them or come get the ba...

Re: Other Games 14/1-17/1

All jokes aside, that’s brilliant. Manchester United are a disaster and Fernandes is up there with the biggest twats in the league the rat face nob. I fear Villa could be a real threat to us next season with the money they're willing to spend. But, much more importantly, this is hilarious. Wouldn't...

Re: ✍ Alex Král

We were chatting about this last night. My optimistic hope is it's all part of Moyes' masterplan and that keeping him on the bench ensures when he gets minutes he will up his game to make the most of them. I really don't think he's looked to bad when he's played so I hope it's just Moyes easing him...

Yeah that's about right, they do it every Saturday too for non BT games.

It's a much better alternative to MOTD.

Nice one. I'm logging off and going for it. See you all on the other side.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Norwich City: rescheduled match thread

Anyone know for sure how the Sky programme at 10.15pm is going to work? I can't find anything about it online (other than the schedule) and don't know if they've done something along these lines in the past for a game that isn't being broadcast live? If it's shown As Live then I'm tempted to ignore ...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Not seeing how he'd be a fit for us and why we are after him, but IF it is a Moyes pick then I'm sure he does see something and will likely get the best out of him. Fingers crossed. It's easy enough to see how he *could* be a fit for us. He has the same physical attributes as Antonio and the idea w...

£200k a week for Jesse Lingard.

Don’t be silly.

There’s literally only one player who would be close to worth that for us.
And sadly Carlton isn't coming out of retirement any time soon. :cried:

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

To be honest I get the feeling any "underinvestment" might be as much due to Moyes as GSB, given his preference to only sign players who he has pre approved. It's not necessarily a bad thing. It's probably better to sign noone than the wrong player on £100k p/w for 4 years. I think I've s...

Re: No More Red [non WHU]

Reasonable to question whether stuff like this has any impact or not, but would also be good if there was some consistency in how the rules are applied. I gather the Premier League blocked clubs from wearing their away kits at home on Boxing Day in support of a Shelter campaign around homelessness. ...

On the occasions I have seen Burnley, admittedly in the main against us or on highlights, I always considered the other guy, Mee, to be the better of the pair.
