Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

A handful of clubs would look at DM, Maybe Wolves, Fulham, Palace, Brentford (perhaps), Forest and the bottom 3. Everton is a no go, bournemouth appoint a certain style of manager, as do Brighton. Moyes and West Ham have both benefited from our time together, both have been elevated in their own way.

Re: Midweek games

Dortmund going through has almost made it so Arsenal now can't lose or 8th is definitely out of it for ECL. The only plus is Spurs won't get CL neither.

They lost their top scorer, then made money.

They're only three points away from the European places with a positive 5 year net spend.

Currently 8th.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

A few of our backup slots can be plucked from the youth team, even if they aren't good enough, it sends a good message out to youngsters who might join us that we will give them a chance sometimes. And I don't mean whack them on for 45, just 10 or 15 here and there.

Just go out there and enjoy the experience lads. Might be a while before we see this again :crest: Aint that the truth. Whatever happens, we have conquered Europe, beating the conquerers Sevilla over 2 legs, sat down Lyon and Fiorentina. It has been a blast, thanks to all those who were involved.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

But if it's been unsuccessful to the point of sacking a manager why would you stick to that philosophy. I get it if you are successful and your manager gets poached but if you get relegated do you change tack or stick to the way? I'm trying to work out at what point do these overview guys take the ...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Don't managers get the sack because their philosophy didn't work? Why would you keep that philosophy. Does Alonso's team play the same way as Soanes did? Which is why you identify what you want the long term goal of what you want your clubs identity to be, then work to fulfill that. Chopping and ma...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

What we need is to sign players to fit the clubs philosophy and style. So when we lose a manager, we don't have to reset every time. The best clubs do this. Establish what we want to be, and work towards that. If the club want DM style players, then go balls deep into that, buy the fastest, best cou...

Managers I would take happily being here next year and in no particular order. Moyes, Mourinho, Potter, Slot, Fonseca, Ipswich guy, Tuchel, Nagelsman, Rodgers, Bournemouth manager, Bielsa Managers who I think would be a downgrade or not exciting enough (For my own personal preferences): Frank, Fat s...

And because of FFP, PSR or whatever it is, without developing some youth, it may well never be unless we get new ownership that starts making us more dollar.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I don't think potter is the answer for west ham personally but we could do a lot worse than Potter Agreed, what potter did and how he went about it is actually very, very good, especially for an English manager. Most of ours managers are clueless humps. Potter after DM would be fine with me, as wou...

Instead we made ourself become weaker and now have to re-tool even harder in a few months, in a market, where a highe...
