Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

And on January: We were one of the few clubs with money to spend because of a lot of clubs in fear of PSR. We were in the perfect decision to show real strength and play the market. Instead we made ourself become weaker and now have to re-tool even harder in a few months, in a market, where a highe...

We were, bar schoolboy defending, we were alright first half, heads dropped once they scored. In open play when we get the ball for a few moments, we look so clueless though.

We need more pace, can't break if Kudus is the only genuinely fast player we have.

We're only actually 8 points behind the tally that got us 7th, wouldn't be that surprising if we end up on more points.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

From all twenty PL-teams, only City and Liverpool have played more competetive matches, than we have. Surely a big factor. Especially for our squad, that has become paper-thin. Squad-selection today looked like fitness-levels had a big say on it as well. Of course that matters. It's why at times, w...

Call the banners, muster who is able to run, grab the flag and plant it. Use the crowd, show these tippy tappers that we have some metal, score early and you never know. Looking for someone to become a hero. :scarfer:

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

4 in 19 is crap. We've been rubbish this year. But you don't get rid of a manager on the basis of a bad 6 months any more than you end a marriage when you go through a bad patch. We were dogwater last season too minus a handful of games in the ECL. He got us firing again at the start of this season...

He has a reason to not like the way we play, I agree with him.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

people need to look it differently, see things from other points of view. DM has brought success we haven't seen, at least in my lifetime. A trophy, a bloody trophy.

We need to stop splitting ourselves into camps and taking cheap shots at each other. It's a hard read at times.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

We were poor. But we clearly didn't play "defensive low block" when we had nearly 60% possession. But the tedious 'he can only play one way' posts will persist. I'm more concerned that the players just didn't seem up for it (equally the manager's remit alongside tactical set up) than by o...
