Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

what's with the new lower starting number of points buying both matches at the same time with the same points means you don't get an extra point from one to benefit with the purchase of the other Two games being available for purchase in one window has happened in previous seasons. With the opening...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

What’s mid-table obscurity? We’ve finished as high as 7th and had top half finishes. Is that obscurity? Simple fact is that without a large investment or a freak season we will never finish higher than 7th. The owners simply don’t have (or won’t risk) that size of investment. Having said that, no w...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

We got beat 9-1 on agg by Man City and 5-1 by Championship side Forest with one of their players scoring a panenka penalty against us, under BFS.

The 9-1 was utterly depressing and low moment following WHU.

Let’s not rewrite history.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

The only time I remember we surrendered a two goal lead under his tenure, we went onto beat Reading 4-2 and he has never relegated a team either. He also has that in his locker. Does anybody think he wouldn't get a better tune out of Haller. It would be like having flu, raise your temperature and b...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

As desperate as he is, I highly doubt Moyes would come back for a second stint. Hughton would be the ultimate embarrassment for me, living and working in Norwich. If they’re looking at getting a consolidation manager in for the rest of the season I’ll probably jack it in and kick a ball about with m...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Arsenal :Match thread (9/12)

Lost for words really. At 1-0 up we had Arsenal under the pump but with no real end product, the crowd seemed to be getting behind the players and it looked like we could of got another. Then Arsenal get an equaliser against the run of play (I knew Martinelli would score when I saw his name on the t...

Re: Everton sack Silva

Sky are saying Everton want the Shanghai SIPG manager, isn’t that where Arnie went?

Let’s be honest, Silva was a bit of a fraud. Got the Everton job on the back of getting Hull relegated and a decent-ish spell at Watford (who themselves go through managers like water.)

Re: ⚽ Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United: Match Thread

Wolves got a plucky goal from a badly defended corner on our behalf (how many times have we conceded from corners in the last couple of seasons?) After that, they just sat and invited us to attack. When our attack inevitably broke down they swiftly countered. They play like this at home all the time...

8-43. Absolute hero. Not only for what he’s done for the game but also in broadcasting. I’ve religiously watched The Debate for his insight and razor sharp wit. But he could do it with class and dignity as opposed to the wind-up troll merchant pundit brigade that are all too common these days. The E...

Re: ⚽ Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United: Match Thread

We’re playing the wrong brand of football, it’s not working, we’re not Man City.

We’re far too predictable and toothless going forward.

Other teams are clinical while we’re ponderous and timid in front of goal.

About 12 million we would have paid wasn't it? Would have repaid that fee twice over by now.
He even said he wanted to sign for us didn’t he.

And Sullivan put in a derisory bid on deadline day knowing it’d be rejected.

Karma.

Re: Amazon

For me, it doesn’t really matter who broadcasts live games. Technology moves forward and so does new ways and methods of viewing. I generally do all the home and cup games where possible, and about 10 aways a season. But I have all the TV subscriptions too. Mainly down to being able to watch live sp...
