Djed Spence - he would be absolutely brilliant for us.
Would be great with Karizma on the other flank imo.

Sorry, a bit niche.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

According to Sky we’re taking the option on Areola but not on Kral.

Ben Johnson also makes the u21 squad. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Only people, who hadn't watched him making huge progress during his time back in Germany at clubs, who played him in the right system and style.

Bayern were never in for Doucek. Fabricated story.
Do you think they’ll go for Haller this window?

When's the last time Bayern had a player as rudimentary on the ball as Soucek though?

Even at his best, he is never a Bayern Munich player.
People laughed when they bought Serge Gnabry.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Soucek to Bayern Munich was one of the funniest transfer rumours I had seen in a long time. I have a lot of time for the man but that one was absurd. Didn’t he make several journalists / media outlets’ team of the seasons for 2020/21? He was touted as one of the signings of the season. This year he...

We won't sell Soucek.
100%.

He was linked with Bayern at the start of the season. And he’s an out and out Moyes type player.

Some people must be drinking some strong coffee this morning.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

I think we're overloaded in that position with players who don't consistently deliver. One will start and then subbed off, the sub comes on and does well, starts next game and the same happens again. If we're interested in Lingard it suggests Moyes doesn't trust them though Fornals is the odd one o...

If we assume Lingard and someone like Dennis from Watford comes in then I think two out of Lanzini/Fornals/Vlasic or Benrahma need to leave.

Who goes?
We’re trying to bolster the squad not detract from it, surely?

Re: Season Review 2021/22

Noble scores the penalty against Man Utd. (or he doesn't come on to take it, somebody else does and scores) and we finish 6th. Small Margins. That’s like saying if we’d of bought Digne, Cresswell wouldn’t of played the EL semi second leg, we don’t have a man sent off and go on to win the game. It’s...

Re: Season Review 2021/22

It’s been a brilliant season, one of the best in many years. But I think we’ve fell short at the back end probably down to doing no business in January. Last season we added Lingard in Jan and it really kicked us on. This season we didn’t really have the squad to go full pelt in the league and the E...

Re: FAC / Weekend's Games

Let’s be honest, Arsenal have been riding their luck for months.

Both of our games they profited from dodgy referee decisions.

Coufal wrongly sent off at their place and then Mike Dean typical sh*thousery the other week.

Some classic choking here from Arsenal.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd vs Manchester City: match thread

Not defending the ref at all I thought he was appalling but he didn’t initially give the penalty (which I suppose is consistent as it was a penalty). He gave a goal kick before it went to VAR, but you just knew when it was asked to be looked at on the pitch side monitor he’d give it in a heartbeat. ...

Re: The Europa Conference League

For anyone looking down their nose at this competition (like some fans I spoke to at Stratford station yesterday). Ask any Roma fan how they feel about their first European final in 25 years. Of course I’m hoping we get Europa League again but I’m just looking forward to a few more Euro away days re...

Re: ⚽ Norwich City vs West Ham Utd: match thread

We really needed that win after a terrible week last week. Hopefully that sees us back in European competition next season. We got the job done but Norwich were pretty terrible, I feel bad for their fans as they get shafted by their board year after year but don’t really have the backbone to do anyt...

Re: Other Games May 7th to May 12th

It is, but it was a taller order at 5.30. They also don’t look like a team who give a **** about finishing 6th. We would somehow have to beat Brighton if we don’t beat Man City. Win tomorrow and I think it more or less guarantees us Conference. Can’t see us getting anything against City but would b...

Re: Other Games May 7th to May 12th

To finish 6th we’d need to get 2 wins from our last 3 and Utd would have to lose their last game.

Not impossible but a tall order.
