You mean well researched signings who make a difference like Kral? Areola? Vlasic? Our new system is working a treat.
It could be worse, we could be dropping £60mil+ on dross like Ndombele.

Re: Other Games 14/1-17/1

Stoppage time is always only a minimum. The extra time came from stoppage time subs, the 2nd spurs goal and the lengthy celebration and the yellow could have been a red incident. Perfectly understandable. What isn't is Leicester and their pathetic game management. The one time I want those feckers ...

Re: Other Games 14/1-17/1

Leicester kept pressing loads forward then giving it away easily in midfield. When they were winning. Dreadful. I am angry watching, must be livid if a Leicester fan. There was only 5 mins injury time meant to be played though. And Bergwijn blatantly dived in the box then pushed Soyuncu over in ang...

A loan till the end of the season is probably worth the punt (cant see Man U agreeing) but beyond that I don't see the attraction.
Not sure he can be loaned out in the last six months of his contract.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Because according to reports they don't want him to come here, as they don't want to strengthen a top four rival. So even though he wants to come here, he won't have the option, unless he joins in the summer. That's why Newcastle for half a season will be better for him, than warming Man Utd's benc...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

If Newcastle are the only club that Man Utd will deal with (regarding Lingard) then it's also a choice of half a season playing vs half a season on the bench? Why would that be the case? They loaned him out to us before and Moyes and Fergie are pretty paly by all accounts. Rangnick wont be able to ...

If he goes there it’s not a footballing decision it’ll be the huge wages they’re offering players.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Leeds Utd: match thread

As someone else said, I think we did underestimate Leeds. They were definitely a different animal to what we faced last week, in terms of mentality and personnel. They started the game with high intensity and didn’t let up all game, we started slowly and it took us a while to go up a gear, I know we...

Re: Other Games 14/1-17/1

According to a Norwich mate the Everton players at full-time went to clap their supporters and one player (wasn’t told who) threw their shirt into the crowd, and the Everton fans threw it back on the pitch. :smiler:

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Leeds Utd: match thread

Expect Leeds to give a better account of themselves than last week.

We can really pull away with a win so expect a typical West Ham nause up.

Saying that I think we will win and keep the momentum going. If Zouma is for he plays for me, at the expense of Diop.

That was dreadful from Pope, you could see Boland was trying to get him to prod at one.

Just leave the ball, it’s basic stuff.

Re: Is now a good time for the season to be suspended?

I see Arsenal are now having discussions with the Premier League about potentially calling off their match against Spurs - only Odegaard is known to be out due to Covid, they also have four players away at AFCON and Xhaka suspended due to his sending off, then subsequently have four injuries plus t...
