Re: Sam's ear

It was a pretty harmless response imo. I didn’t get the reaction it got tbh I was at this game, the football on display was pretty much soul destroying. IIRC, James Chester scored an own goal which was better than any goal we’d scored all season. It was very dark period for the club which thankfull...

Re: Season ticket renewal 24/25

Whist tourists are profitable to the club, ST holders are its bread and butter. Games like Burnley and Brentford on a Sunday / Monday night are tough sells to ardent fans let alone football tourists. The thing that done me is when they did that reconfiguration of the West Stand adding all those extr...

Re: Season ticket renewal 24/25

Mine is over £1k now!

They put the prices up quite a bit last season, this recent hike seems unjustified.

Poor from Dunk, what a pass from Lukaku though with the outside of the boot.

Good game so far.

Big corporate skim off here IMO.

Attractive fixture and relatively easy to get to.

The VAR screens should be shown on the screens in the stadium and the conversations should be heard by everyone.
They specifically don’t do this for fear it could incite crowd violence.

Re: West Ham United v Aston Villa: match thread (17.03.24)

We capitulated due to Moyes's substitution. Whatever the villa outcome was going to be was magnified by the negative change he made. Even Coufal had his arms in the air at the bench when the numbers were held up by the 4th official. Gesturing "what the f**k" Sorry mate but this is a poor ...

Re: West Ham United v Aston Villa: match thread (17.03.24)

We didn’t draw the game due to Moyes’s substitutions. Emery made a few changes at HT which gave Villa a bit more zip and stretched us, Zanolo scored and Cash and Diaby were more of a threat that that Jhon Duran bloke and whoever else it was who went off. Moyes brought JWP on who should have bloody s...

The 2nd chalked off goal (Soucek) was the longest check in VAR history according to The Athletic.

Heard the first one was shirts sleeve, which is normally deemed as shoulder?

Could be wrong here but happy to be put right (well not happy really)

West Ham 1 - VAR 3

They’ve looked for every opportunity to chalk our goals off today.

What a crock of sh*t.

Re: UEFA Europa League 2023-24

Bayern are useless. Tuchel has won it with an unfancied team before but he’s lost half the dressing room by all accounts. Lucky draw for them Lucky for every other team that City drew Madrid too, one of the two favourites out by the semis We don’t need to worry about the coefficient anyway, we’ll b...

Re: West Ham Utd V Burnley: match thread - 10.03.24

Didn’t Man Utd refuse to settle up a pay dispute with Maguire? He was ostracised by ten Hag at the time and I was under the impression he wanted to leave. And yes, we’d be a lot better with him now. I was against him joining at the time but I think he would have settled after a few mistakes (Unlike ...

Re: West Ham Utd V Burnley: match thread - 10.03.24

Terrible first half, I feared the worst when I saw the team sheet. We simply don’t have squad players good enough to rotate. Our defence is pretty woeful as it is, and our best defender was on the bench, both of Burnley’s goals came from defensive errors, ok you can say the first one was a very good...

Rice is good and he’s certainly added to his game since joining Arse chipping in with goals and taking set pieces.

But he’s no Rodri.
