Re: Away Tickets Thread - Over Land and Sea

After the ballot ends, how quick do you find out if you are successful? I enter the ballot every time I see a 'sold out to XXX' post in this thread and so far never heard anything. Just unlucky I guess. My question would be how do we know when the ballot has ended and been drawn, just to get a vagu...

Re: Declan Rice

He will win the lot, and I hope he does, but he strikes me as the sort of person whose biggest regret and the ene of his career will be last years Europa League I agree with this, even after winning numerous honours, I think he's the sort of person who would still be gutted he didn't win some silve...

Re: Leeds United v West Ham United: match thread

I remember the home game we lost 3-2 last Jan to this lot and they pressed all over the pitch and we simply couldn't handle it. We did score a couple but I have noticed any team that presses aggressively seem to get the better of us. Hopefully not the case tonight but I assume Leeds' tactics will be...

I stopped watching when I realized he had 12 players on the pitch most of the time. :winker:

Re: Divin Mubama

Looked okay to me at reading. One lovely knock down for Bowen I think had the whole away end clapping.

Didn't look out of place at all and if cresswell and masuaku had got their whipped crosses a bit more accurate he could have got us a goal .

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Eintracht Frankfurt: match thread

This is the frustration, set pieces are our greatest strength and we kept dropping in-swingers on the keeper, why didn't we switch to out-swingers, is it that we have no brains on the field, or were they following orders? As others have said their manager did his homework. Normally antonio would st...

Re: David Moyes Claret and Blue Army!!!!!

I must admit I've gone from 'Has he gone yet' to 'Has he signed yet' as I think he's exactly what we need at present. I think most of the players think the same way by their graft and commitment to the cause... a few more signings like the recent ones and we'll really have moved on.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Thats the thing, we are not here by luck. We are simply beating teams because we are better than them. A quick mention about our team spirit btw - Just fantastic! A special mention to Craig Dawson who is quite frankly terrifying offensive players that come up against him. I've noticed this too, he ...

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Aston Villa: match thread

Rice's miniscule shirt pull on villa player for a penalty Vs Haller getting his shirt pulled almost off his back for no free kick.. how does that work?

Just one of many many lop-sided ref decisions. Luckily VAR made up for it. I would be seething if I was a Villa fan over that last 'Goal' though.

As he fell his head caught Rice's studs.

Beer Shelves Those shelves in the stand i'm in are aligned perfectly with the gap in the plastic sheeting on the 'roof' of the concourse. So when it's pissing it down no-one can use them as the rain falls squarely on top of them and anyone standing within arms length of them. Genius. I'm not bitter...
