Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

How do other clubs cope ? Or is it the new 26,000 STH feeling hard done by ? Can't see a reason to change it, the system has worked for years. The £30 a game probably has more to do with it than anything, see the prices abck up to £40-60 and the AST numbers will drop off as no longer throw away pric...

See one prominent fan banned for ‘selling’ on an Everton ticket.

So it begins. Lucky there’s no agenda eh?
More empty seats at away games

If you can't sell on without being banned then don't write off the £31

Getting silly now

Re: TV fixtures late again

Not really improved this TV fixtures annoucments, seems worse now since they've got broadbastarders to deal with Remember trying to book flights to Newcastle and Sky moved the game but didn't confirm it on TV as I watched and not on their website, I think it was the Premier League site that had it d...

3 Games in the LC v Southend, Drew 1-1 at home, 0-0 in the Reply and smashed them 5-1 in a 2nd Replay at home with a Hat-Trick from Billy Landsdowne Managed to do all the FA Cup Run, getting a ticket for the Final was a pain after the club did a 'lucky' voucher at the Fulham home game No away scheme...

Re: Season ticket misuse – need some advice

Ticket forwarding no longer exists. The club introduced a system this season where 10 days before a game you can download your own seat on a PDF ticket and do with it as you wish. The PDF shows ticket category and the value of the ticket. You have to ask the ticket office to activate this facility....

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Those on the corners will not be as close. whilst those in the middle will be nearer. It's not like they'll be on top of the pitch !!! Check the image again 'Square Off' is the clue to what they are really doing, some win a few feet and some lose, Overall more gain than lose so its 'WHU MOVE FANS NE...

Re: My son collects bricks

We got our brick back thanks to Jono & the builders that saved the bricks Co :D

Donation to the BMF was all they asked

Imagine the club doing this it would have been a £50 fee for saving your brick payable in advance and no refund if it didn't come out in one piece

Crouchy  diabolical that Bonzo never got into that mix either...but it is what it is... Do you remember Bonzo being sub v Italy at Wembley, I was itching for him to get on as the Italians were booting everyone up in the air https://englandmemories.com/2016/09/19/the-great-uncapped-billy-bonds/

Re: Season ticket misuse – need some advice

The club aren't that borthered they've sold the seats and it would cost them more to chase down everyone that either sells on (tout or not) or goes to 5 games a season My mate and his son had seats in the Gods Band 5 for season 1 and they sat there once all season and as there was plenty of room in ...

My daughter moved up to Fakenham with her mum years ago and it's not too bad. It's, a Tesco, Morrison, Lidl, Adli, B&Q, decent Chip Shop and Wetherspoons, but no station at present long term plans to get something back. Not too far to drive to the Norfolk Coast or back towards Derham, Swaffham etc h...

Re: Going Underground! (the train & public transport thread)

Last time I used, think it was the District Line or Circle Line to go up London, I couldn't believe in places just how loud the journey was. Almost so loud that it hurt my ears & long term, would clearly damage your hearing. Combined with that, the ride was so rough, I genuinely thought that at any...

If you can't tell if someone is offside with a basic slow motion reply then give the goal As said camera angles, frames per second, lines that aren't straight and big kneecaped players !! Is offside from when the ball touched or when it leaves the players foot, that could mean 2mm on the armpit rule...

Re: Going Underground! (the train & public transport thread)

A big area of geekdom with trains for me is disused or abandoned train and tube lines, and that sort of stuff - I like the really odd obscure stuff that feels intrinsically linked to London and it’s history At Waterloo Station, there are swastikas as a pattern on one of the entrances that were put ...
