Re: Remaining Fixtures Predictions.

That game against Villa is looking like the 6 pointer to end all 6 pointers. Could be the 18th place decider, Grealish 99th minute winner from a a free kick given away by sub keeper Haller filling in for injured Randolph as we had no keepers on the bench (9 mins added time due to VAR delays cancell...

Re: [POLL] Are YOU happy at the Olympic/London Stadium?

Can't stand the place so I ain't been this season. So after 15 seasons and missing only 2 home league games over those seasons, I've missed all 4 home games this season. Still can't stand the place Since packing it in May 2017 I've done 1 game v Sheff Utd this season, basically forced to go to take...

Re: what pub have you been in today ? Rate it out of 10

Anybody been in the new Micropub in Hornchurch yet? I frequent the one in Gidea Park occasionally and that's great. Not the same owners so wondered what it's like. Let me know if you've checked it out  Some friends went last weekend and said it was busy but thought the staff seemed to be gett...

Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

Just beat the teams around you, Look at Moyes record last time We got thrashed with the oppostion getting 4 goals about 5 games, one of them was Swansea Whilst we beat Southampton H, Watford H, Huddersfield A, WBA H, Stoke A Last 3 games against teams in holiday mode and we got 7pts, before that we ...

I hear The Boleyn is closing for major refurbishment later this month? I imagine no regular match day trade killed it.
Last weekend I believe drove past yesterday and some poster up in the Windows could quite read them properly

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

I know a corporate group that have a ' lounge ' deal got an invite a while back but couldn't make it, they will take clients to Darkhorse ( never heard of it but is quite close I'm told ) then chauffeur them to the ground just before kick-off, despite having paid for all the pre-match stuff they bi...

Re: 2nd Hand Car Considerations

I have a 5 year old Zafira, bright red, and intend to drive it until it drops. I hate to be all penny-pinching Philly Dan (I miss that guy) but **** throwing money away for a new machine when the old one is fine. Never been a big car person myself since I sold my Capri Ghia 2.0L to buy a flat back ...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

I sent a tweet to PC Sheldon last season about reports of Liverpool fans having easy access to tickets in the home end and got a condescending reply that it was just internet rumour and that he "was sure the ticket office had it under control" At least a lot of them are in one block and PC Sheldon ...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

There were quite a few metropolitan boroughs under the control of The London County Council prior to 1965. Unfortunately neither East Ham or West Ham were amongst them, both being Essex County Council. The only area of Newham that came under the old LCC was North Woolwich, which was then part of th...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Had a liverpool fan sat next to me at the fixture last season in 236 and took great delight in getting them turfed out when they started celebrating Mane's goal. They were absolutely everywhere then and will be even more so this time around. For the avoidance of doubt, the club don't care who fills...

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

They lost money on Wolves and being the way they are, are playing it save with Man City and going for the lower allocation. Depends on how Man City sell on the batches of tickets for them to go for an extra amount Although 50% of it will be already accounted for anyway, so 750 approx I never get why...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

“We might sign Gedson Fernandes. Or we might sign Joe Allen” G&S & January in a nutshell We need the experience right now which Allen has, whilst Fernandes would be another one of Sully specials for the future Keeper wise strange to back and pay £4M for a 32 yr old that you got rid a few years back...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Suggestion on Twitter that the club are (perhaps unsurprisingly) looking to join Southampton, Bournemouth, Wolves, and I think Tottenham, Chelsea, Man City, and Watford, in having a pre match light show... I’m not sure that will go well with our fan base. Did Bournemouth do one this season when we ...
