Re: Pablo Fornals

I had assumed he was injured when he didn't play last night, a decent player that will only get better. If an appearance clause is the reason, and it sounds plausible to me, for what other reason is there not to play him? then its yet another example of the squalid ownership

Re: “We Are Really in Trouble”

We (as in the supporters) are not in trouble - its the owners who are, financially that is . Their nice little earner is going to be worth a lot less in a few weeks time.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini sacked

Moyes in his prime at Everton wouldn’t have been fit to lace the boots of Pellers in his pomp. Anyway this board, West Ham London and Moyes are a genuinely perfect fit. They all deserve each other. Like many of this thread, I would feel more confident of survival or at least a bit of fight b...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)

3) Because a narrow defeat isn't as disheartening as a thumping; Supporting West Ham has always been about the performance for me. LOL if you will, but many share that view. With these owners and that type of negative performance, even more will walk away from the OS next season, relegation or no r...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)

Absolute joke of a performance. The amount of money we have spent to sit back and accept defeat from the start. That was so painful to watch. What’s with all this commentary about us having all this attacking talent and being to good to be near the relegation zone. We have got the players wi...

Re: Justin Fashanu Hall of fame (non whu)

Sporting halls of fame celebrate pioneers as well as the most talented. A black, gay footballer coming out on the cusp of eighties football culture, with all that entails, and to this day being the only one willing to do it is more than deserving of a place in the Hall of Fame of a sport. More cajo...

Re: Are our players as good as we think they are?

Unfortunately unlike fans who follow the club through good times and bad times, spending a fortune of their monthly wage packet on going to games buying club merchandise, many if not all players are there to make money whether it be for us or another team. They don't care, they don't have the passi...

Re: Trial seperation

Unfortunately I don't get that expectation any more, except at away games. In fact, I tend to stay in pub longer nowadays ,much less bothered about missing first 5 mins or so (also has advantage of not standing at the queue for security for 20 mins).

In fact any chance of the march swinging past the Black Lion on its way? That way will be able to coordinate completion of pint with start of march.

Freud who as we all know spent a great deal of time trying to work out what why men (or at least middle class Austrian men of the late nineteenth century) find it so difficult to find satisfying love with a women, makes a comparison to the satisfaction alcohol gives the drinker: “Is it not true that...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

I wasn’t aware of that. Stupid fools. Imagine spending the clubs money on improving the experience for the support and to the benefit of the club. It’ll never catch on..! Members of Wimbledon FC mutual supporters Trust have dug into their own pockets to raise £4million to complete their new ground,...

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

Very true - and to the point. That's why we are such a sh.t club - no respect given to 50 year plus suppoprters, long term ST holders etc, just customers to GSB

Re: Man City (Non-WHU)

I'm normally cynical about big clubs getting away with breaking the rules, or the rules being re-made when a big club breaks them. But this case has been brewing for some time, the evidence is pretty damming, City trying to get out of it on a technicality that won't hold up. The other traditional bi...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

I don't think people realise how much the accumulation of more wealth matters to the super rich... Although spot on here. Went to the ticket office today (friday) to return my man city ticket, going on working day during the week, you realise more than during a match day (when there is a bit of sup...

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

Returned my Man city ticket to the ticket office in the Bowl today as can't take time off work for next week. I had assumed would keep priority point given the trails and tribulations of Sunday. I didn't travel myself in the end as took on board the Rail companies warning not to travel, but know peo...

Re: Definition of "Spurs" changed...

This Oxford dictionary definition is problematic in loads of ways. Not least of which is that it implies the Jewish community exclusively support Tottenham or are associated with them. Obviously this isn't the case, not least because we ourselves have plenty of Jewish supporters, as do Man City, to ...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United: MATCH POSTPONED (09/02)

Sorry mate, I was being sarcastic. I'm more than aware of the problems. I'd rather pay than get the free coach - they should be doing specials and cancelling prior to travel of course. See you up there  Apologies accepted - i thought it was most unlike you to appear to endorse these arrangeme...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United: MATCH POSTPONED (09/02)

Get the free coach. Gets to the LS at about 2.30am Thurs. What’s the problem? The problem is that I start work at 8am in the morning. While getting the coach leaving the OS at 1pm means taking a day off work. That is in effect two days work lost. Clearly you can afford to do this, but i can't. But ...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United: MATCH POSTPONED (09/02)

Well there's absolutely no chance for me and many others to go to this ridiculously rescheduled game, after the debacle of sunday. The last train back from Manchester Piccadilly is 9.15pm! This is purely for the sofa fans.
