Re: Liverpool v West Ham Utd: match thread (12/8/18)

first day so u never know. remember arsenal away? I'm optimistic that we will play well so can take positives into the next game - they have few injuries at the back and I fancy us to score. the pressure is on them to live up to being 'title challengers' so no pressure on us at all I'm going 2-2 COYI

Re: West Ham United v Manchester United: Match Thread

I thought we played well last night tbh. Yeah of course we can pick fault in one or two areas of the performance, tactics etc but overall a point against utd is a good result.

It is ironic UTD fans of all people telling us we r not west ham anymore, just bizarre.

Re: David Moyes: should he stay or should he go? [POLL]

take it as a pinch of salt Moyes comments in the media today because it is no secret the board are looking at other managerial options typical WH. I said some weeks ago don't be surprised if Moyes goes and we get Silva as he free then expect a WH statement in coming weeks saying we cant find a suita...

two very similar managers - setting up to not to loose rather than win.

Its not gonna be pretty but a draw should be enough for us.

Re: Arsenal v West Ham United: Match Thread

Hoping Arsenal's minds are else where....Madrid game & new manager and we catch them on an off day similar to opening day of the season couple of years ago.

1-0 WH win. Late Carroll goal from the bench.

Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match thread

Not digging you out personally, but i just can't fathom this thinking. We don't have that many games left, we are playing Burnley at home. Yes, they are not a bad side, but hardly world beaters away from home. We need to win games, not be content with draws. One point is not good enough, and we real...

Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley: match thread

tough game. Burnley have turned a corner and are a decent team very well organised with a quality manager. What with the injuries we have I would take a draw now. We can not afford to loose especially with fellow strugglers Southampton & Stoke to come soon so a draw isn't the end of the world, i...

Re: Gold and Sullivan ???

just seems every week there is something coming out of the club it is embarrassing. I know there is the march planed in the coming weeks but that wont bother them but its a start and I am grateful for folk organising it. For me what would really hit home would be a mass walk out during the game. Fai...

Re: Arsenal v West Ham Utd: match thread

one of the worst games of football I have ever seen from both sides tbh. So So poor. If my kids are naughty I will put it on and make them watch it as punishment. The ref didn't help much hardly gave us anything. Wouldn't let the game flow. Been Arsenal away many times in the past and seen us get ri...

Re: Burnley v West Ham Utd: match thread

Burnley are undefeated in 5 ( All of Sept) and lets be honest have been excellent so far this season, this game shouldn't be taken lightly. WH have a decent record up there and have the squad capable of getting a result just depends on Slav's selection / tactics. I think it works in our favour the I...

Re: West Ham United -v- Swansea City : Match Thread

Arthur has to start he deserves it after goal in cup then assist on Sat. Could he even play further forward? I don't know but he has earned it. As for Carroll why should he start? the fella hasn't scored since a league goal since April, I know he has a decent record Vs Swansea but who cares? His mis...

give credit were credit is due x2 clean sheet is great for us and well done. If someone had said to me at the beginning of the week we would win Monday night 2-0 and 0-0 on Sat at WBA I would of took it all day long. Could there be improvements? of course, massively as there is always room to improv...

Re: West Ham Utd v Huddersfield Town: Match thread

Apart from the 3 points there isn't many positives to take from the game. Huddersfield played decent football with lots of possession but no end product. Mooy was a class act his movement, touch and passing was a joy to watch something we lacked and without Lanzini we have no one who is comfortable ...

1-0 UTD win.

Hart to play a blinda but eventually gets beaten.
