Sad news indeed.
Larry Lloyd was a big part of two cracking teams from my early years.
I'm old enough to remember him as big part of Liverpool's defence before Clough/Taylor reignited his career at Forest.

Bowen looked like he belonged at international level last night, I thought he was excellent. That Mainoo is going to be some player, fazed by nothing and wants to go forward. The defence though... Stones is decent, but that seems to be it. Centre back is a massive problem, and you can see why Southg...

I'm always playing catch up on recordings and have just finished the Tourist series 2
Enjoyable, ridiculously farfetched and with some wonderful characters.

We loved it. Thought they were better than when we saw them at Royal Albert Hall.
All the reviews I had read about this tour were spot on, they were amazing.
I missed the support band who I understand were decent too

Barring any injuries, we have to go with the strongest team possible. Cant see much change from the weekend for this game beyond the keepers.
Maybe Aguerd for Zouma, but other than that stick with the strongest we have.

He was decent in a very poor, relegated, Burnley team. He had a better shot/goal ratio and goals per game return than most, if not all, of our attacking players that season and looked a good addition to the squad. His time here will only remembered by his knack of being offside, his bad injury, and ...

It did seem to end a bit rapidly, albeit dramatically
Lots going on to continue in series 3, should it happen….

He had a very good game tonight, his best for a long time. No coincidence, imo, that there’s finally competition for places in the middle and his performance has improved.
Really should be hitting the target with at least one of the chances he had though.
