Friend of mine in Portugal claims we are being linked with Dany Mota from Monza, who I have never heard of.
Recently called up to full Portuguese squad, quick, strong and plays anywhere across the frontline
Anyone heard of him, or of any links to him ?

Re: Out of Contract Players June 30 2024
I have no idea if Anang has any kind of future at this level, but the rest of them, with perhaps the exception of Coufal, ought to be moved on.
I'd hope an upgrade on Coufal can be found which would likely demote him to a supporting role
Johnson needs to reignite his career elsewhere

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Fonseca to replace Moyes?
Yes please
Has a very good reputation and track record, attack minded, likes developing younger players too.
Fits with the model that Steidten is reported to be putting in place
Gets a big from Sullivan too as I believe he is out of contract this year

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
So Moyes said he thought we were the better side!I obviously wasnt watching the same match from the Billy Bonds stand. How deluded is he? He's right, we were for the first 5 minutes or so... Then Antonio missed his customary sitter, Mavropanos gifted them one and it was downhill from there. Now you ...

Re: 👋 Farewell, Said Benrahma
.... he delivered 2 clinical assists through the traffic, and could have been credited with at least a couple more if his teammates could shoot on target. He was directly involved in all 3 goals last Tuesday which led us to a Cup final, which we couldn't even dream of 3 months ago, in the worst sea...

Fair play to Benrahma, hope he keeps it up. Whatever his future holds, he will always be a huge and significant part of our history.
Amazing what a run of games, belief and confidence does for a player. Didn't take long to acclimatise to a new club/league did it ?

£40.00 for The Jesus & Mary Chain at the Roundhouse last night....bargain. . I was lucky enough to be there too last night, cracking write up Juncs, of what is going to be a very hard gig to beat this year. The sound in the Roundhouse is phenomenal too, great venue, for a very special night Wit...

Re: Larry Lloyd [non WHU]
Sad news indeed.
Larry Lloyd was a big part of two cracking teams from my early years.
I'm old enough to remember him as big part of Liverpool's defence before Clough/Taylor reignited his career at Forest.

Bowen looked like he belonged at international level last night, I thought he was excellent. That Mainoo is going to be some player, fazed by nothing and wants to go forward. The defence though... Stones is decent, but that seems to be it. Centre back is a massive problem, and you can see why Southg...

We loved it. Thought they were better than when we saw them at Royal Albert Hall.
All the reviews I had read about this tour were spot on, they were amazing.
I missed the support band who I understand were decent too
