Re: Is our 2019/20 squad stronger than last season's?

Undoubtedly stronger. The squad depth is probably unrivalled in our history actually, I'm certainly struggling to think of a second XI as strong as our current: Roberto Zaba/Johnson, Oggy, Reid, Cresswell Antonio, Noble, Snoddy/Sanchez, Yarmolenko, Hernandez, Ajeti I would wager that team would prob...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Based on nothing more than his 3 minutes highlight reel, I'm liking the looking of Ajeti. He looks quick enough and scores different types of goals. He seems to be your out and out number nine, more akin to Haller than Hernandez (again, based on my 3 minutes of revision). One thing I don't quite und...

Re: Felipe Anderson

This boy is seriously class and it's great to see someone in a West Ham shirt get you onto the edge of your seat everytime he's on the ball. A legend in the making and dare I say I see a bit of Trevor Brooking about him!

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 26 days remaining

There also seems to be an accepting, apathetic feeling that Arnie just goes if a big club winks in his direction. I find that attitude depressing - and gives the board an easy excuse to sell. Imagine if they DO want to balance the books and read some of the views on here. ‘Know your place West Ham’...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 26 days remaining

What a strange place this is sometimes. We're having the best transfer window, probably of our history and people are getting themselves all upset at the imaginary sale of Arnie! I'm sure some on here are secretly hoping he is sold so they can say 'told you so'. Whilst nothing is certain in football...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th new manager

To be honest, I'm quite astounded that we've managed to secure someone of Pellegrini's pedigree. Really good work from Sully, but he owes us big time! Now he needs to release the funds MP needs to get the team functioning properly, I reckon something in the region of £70-80m would be needed to get 4...

Indeed, and if we go on a good run there would be overwhelming support for him to stay. It's the fickle nature of many football fans these days.

Re: David Moyes: should he stay or should he go? [POLL]

It's a yes from me. I think *IF* he's given the funds, we'll start to see a far more balanced side than under recent managers. He's worked wonders with Arnie, turned Cresswell into a serviceable defender in a back 3. and trusted Declan who has responded magnificently. I also like that he's willing t...

Re: Michail Antonio

Time to make a public example, hopefully Moyes will rinse him in his post match presser. Well done for dropping him from the squad when we could really have done with him tonight, showing who's boss and that no one is bigger than the team.

Is this the most expensive bench in West Ham history? About £60m by my reckoning.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017

What a great window, a slow burner but getting Hart, Arnie and Hernandez all done in a week is really good work by the board and they should get a truck load of credit. As someone else said earlier, in general they've delivered in previous windows apart from last years paltry effort. I'm not sure we...

Is the correct answer. A tremendous talent who desperately wants to join his childhood team. Provided the package takes account of potential injury issues this would be excellent business.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017

Obaing wins tackles all day long. Distributes the ball quickly. High energy. Can someone please explain to me why he is not a DM? Your bonkers if you can't see it. Thank goodness for this post. Obiang is a defensive midfielder all day long. High energy player who wins tackles and keeps it simple. A...
