Re: Too many games

And the game was played at half the intensity. The build of the players and what is expected of them is completely different now so you cannot compare. Modern players are more similar to race horses than a player from the 1970s or 1980s. A lot of modern players have the skill of a race horse as well.

Re: Security checks means I'm missing kick off

It's the opening of coats and removing of hats that gets my goat. I asked one of them yesterday what they actually expect to find under my beanie hat as it is pulled tight to my head and the silly cow replied "you tell me?" Just my ****ing head. It just doesn't feel right watching old boys in their ...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

You know we didn’t win much. But that didn’t stop you going. You knew it was something deeper – much, much deeper. You knew in your heart it wasn’t about winning. At the end of the day, it was you, your family, your mates, your life, your story, the feeling of belonging -the simply being there. Thi...

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

2 - Why is it becoming a recurring theme under Moyes that we seem to start slowly and then he puts a rocket up their backsides at half time, can't he just do that from the first whistle? Damage limitation first half and go for it in second. We're not fit enough to play all out for 90 minutes. It'll...

It comes to something when even the likes of Robbie Savage can spot the glaring lack of pace and mobility in our team and the non existent “threat” in midfield.

So blindingly obvious.
Did Savage mention a lack of pace?

Re: OUR PLAYERS ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH

As the title says, our players are not good enough, no pace, no power, no energy, no enthusiasm, no imagination, no hope. I don’t understand what we are trying to achieve both on and off the pitch. All logic seems to have gone out of the window. We need a massive squad overhaul with only days to go...

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

Having watched again, I think that is right. I would also highlight the way that Diop didnt move across toward goal, as the move develops - if he moved over, Oggie can move over and it is easwier for Cresswell to come out toward Perreira. Even if he doesnt reach him, he may put him off... I can see...

Got my tickets this morning.

As for the second point being added upon the ticket being used then surely everyone is happy with that as it is what they have been asking for.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

One thing that I feel we can work on before the next one is the chanting. I thought 10 years of failure was good but I'm not a massive fan of the Lies, Lies, Lies chant. It does contain swearing which as you'll see from the Telegraph article will be picked up and reported by the press or gives GSB ...

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

He appears to want lots of balls/crosses into him in front of goal, that he can finish off but 1) he barely gets that service & 2) as he's often the lone striker, he's usually surrounded by 2 or even 3 defenders, poor f*cker. He's got a right to be thoroughly pissed off, imo. And the crowd need to ...

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

Plenty of teams play one up front. In fact nearly every team in the Premership Playing one up front actually means the striker should score more as everything goes through them We have overpaid by about 20m, if not more The best I've seen at playing the lone centre forward role was Drogba but he wo...

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

I know he has his own thread but f*ck me, Haller's general play today was abysmal. Slower than Zaba, control non-existent, passing shocking. £45m? Nah. He is too isolated and needs a partner alongside him. His percentage at winning headers is far better than Carroll. We have not had a decent goal s...

Final thing to mention, ****ing VAR. The Ajeti "headbutt" incident, BBC sport have Upson saying it was a red, sky didn't even put it in the highlights package or mention it in their commentary, but what gets me is 2 things. 1 we were attacking, we could and should have gone on to have another chanc...

It fell on its arse. About time our supporters resisted the bait and didn't call in.
