Re: Pochettino leaves Spurs. (Mourinho confirmed)

I really, really f*cking hate Mourinho. Seeing his face makes my blood boil! Anywho... This move shows just how much his stock has fallen in the game, that none of the big boys would touch him with a barge pole these days. He’ll be sacked within a couple of years and will either head to China or a n...

Re: Pochettino leaves Spurs.

Mourinho won't win anything for them. It'll be beautiful to see that club seriously implode in 6-12 months time.

Re: West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur: Match Thread 23/11/2019

If MP can't get our players up for this game then I just can't see there being any way back for him. I don't think they'll batter us (Mourinho teams don't batter anyone) but if it's a comfortable 2-0 win for them, with an inept performance from us, I think he'll have to go.

Re: Pochettino leaves Spurs.

Wonder if Southgate could be an option for them. Didn’t he come out and say something like there’s a chance he may not be managing England at the Euros next year?

I’d rather go for players playing well for the lesser teams, than go for players who aren’t playing for the bigger teams.

You can say that as many times as you want, it doesn't make it true.
I think it is true, isn't it?

Re: Declan Rice

Still love him and can't help but feel very sorry for him. The players around him are absolutely crud and there's far too much responsibility on his young shoulders. He also goes off to England and sees his best mate playing well for a good team. He sees most of the players around him playing well i...

Re: Are we signing the right calibre of players?

Also, it's not all about the players coming in - our current players are even struggling with motivation. Cresswell has had one half-decent match in 3 seasons and gets a huge contract extension. Lanzini signed his contract and has gone completely off the boil. The same happened with Payet and Arnie ...

Re: Are we signing the right calibre of players?

I was going to post a new topic about the same thing! I would ask the question whether we're signing the right players for West Ham. It's all well and good signing players for £40m+, but they have to want to be at West Ham and fit the system. One of the biggest things we'll find with signing high-en...

Re: Bobby Snodders

Might not be the most naturally talented in the squad, but at least he actually wants to be at West Ham, and cares about the club and fans. The sad thing is, it seems like there are only a small handful of others who feel the same way.

Should have signed Maripan, especially for days like today.
Thought that earlier when I saw he was playing for Monaco and seeing the run of form they’ve been on.

Still think we should have signed William Carvalho as well :D

Re: Roberto Jimenez

I might be the only one, but I feel a bit sorry for him. He’s clearly not up to PL standard anymore, but he’s been chucked in at the deep end during the team’s awful run of form, and I can only imagine that when he signed for us he knew he wouldn’t play at all apart from maybe the odd cup game. It f...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

If MP has lost the dressing room, which I think he has, he’s got to go. I said the same thing about Bilic. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you’ve won or how much you’re on, whether you’re Pep, Klopp, Bilic or MP, if you lose the dressing room then there’s no hope.

The pattern is, spend money in the first season, pull the rug from under them in the second season.

I just cant figure out why.

Anyone?
So they can blame the manager for the team’s failings in years two and three, which comes due to their lack of / poor investments in the playing squad.
