Second to worst team in the league, we only managed a 2-2 draw against the worst team in the league after giving away a penalty in injury time :swear:

I'd put a fiver on Lampard till end of season if Moyes fails his four game review.
And just for laugh I'll add one to Sullivans 'It wouldn't surprise me' list, Chris Houghton. :winker:

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Pablo Fornals scores a blinder for Betis on his first start, Seb Haller scores the Afcon winner for Ivory Coast tonight. Ooh the irony! Moyes is only part of the problem, but the bigger problem is Sully, who gets to choose Moyes replacement should he be sacked. The performance away at Bristol and to...

Just looking at the other premier clubs transfer business, and eleven have not brought anyone in as yet.
There's been a few 'loans ended' returned to their clubs but that shouldn't count in the 'transfers in' column.
So we're not the only one. Quiet month all round.... :asleep:

Re: January transfer window

Imagine if we banned the transfer thread till deadline day… no more wasted hours of pointless arguments, mods warnings and utter nonsense being discussed day after day, week after week. I’m sure the world would be a better place. It's helped keep the January Blues away reading a lot of the Bow Lock...

Re: Nah, he plays as a Trequartista - but make sure someone holds in a double pivot

My issue with "low block" is a large portion of our fanbase using the term without knowing what it actually means. Bring back Sam and him out tacticing others. Isn't 'Low Block' just another term for 'Parking the Bus' ? - Something the 'Special One' accused 'BFS' of after a well earned dr...

Re: January transfer window

My problem with Bergwijn is the cost that would be associated with him for his performances of late. Ajax paid over €30m for him, and I would imagine they would want to recoup at least half of that. €15m+ for a player that isn't exactly earning rave reviews in a much weaker league seems iffy to me....

Everton - New owners ? (non WHU)

So it's just been announced that Everton are now owned by the 777 partners group. This US based investment group now own Genoa CFC, Red Star FC (France) Standard Liege, Vasco De Garma, (Brazil) and Melbourne Victory. My issue is the ticking time bomb of 'dodgy transfers' and loans between these club...
