This obsession people have with recalling Cullen has got to stop.
It's the only hope we have as we won't spend any money

(p.s. I'm not supporting a recall, but can see why people are)

Sure - name a few. 5-10M is nothing in today’s market. It is literally a 1M punt in old money.
This is why we need a scouting team at West Ham

Swear I’ve seen the name Forbo somewhere before.
There was a youth player for us in the late 90s with a similar surname...... :eh:

Just a loan, no obligation, that means there’s no reason not to buy Berge...
And 18 months to negotiate a permanent transfer with Benfica - maybe (or am I grasping at straws??)

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Bournemouth: Match thread (01/01)

Moyes before he left ordered a full audit, none of what those results showed have been dealt with, we have just 5 scouts for the global network ... 5 !! Read an article on The Athletic recently about this, and it is an utter disgrace. Apparently, we have no infrastructure in the club, and everythin...

I think he is the right manager to match our ambitions as a club.

comfortably mid-table.
Agreed. Take the Sky money, just enough investment to scrape a mid table finish each season, prepped and ready to sell us as soon as the stadium clause expires...

Reports coming out that Enzo Maresca was offered the job until the end of the season but he rejected prompting G&S to pursue Moyes.
Possibly why it was leaked/claimed that Maresca was responsible for the match day tactics the other game - vs Chelski??

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

A very underwhelming appointment. But I will back him, as I would any new manager of West Ham United. I hope he gets the chance to sort the team out and instill some passion and pride in the shirt from the players.

Good luck DM

I don;'t know mate but Pezza said a while back something along the lines "no wonder Pellers wants out". I don't know what led to him wanting out but Pezza has shown over the years that he is a genuine ITK.
I missed that one. Pezza is normally spot on

Re: Board vs Pellegrini [POLL]

Pellers has clearly given up. When do you think this happened? As he was doing great up until mid-September! Then we lost to Oxford and it all went to ****. But I don't understand why he would give up - after the transfer window was closed, team performing well. He may have made some poor decisions...

Re: Board vs Pellegrini [POLL]

Depressingly excellent, Pinky - this needs to be seen by the masses. Seconded. Club vs company - that is our defining issue, and one that probably won't change until they are bought out. Proper West Ham fans would not take from the "club" in this way. And lets not forget, these guys are multi milli...

Re: Board vs Pellegrini [POLL]

What does Karren Brady even do for the club nowadays?? I voted for the general management, as we know what the players can do, but its the system that doesn't work. Not at our level anyway. I think there is enough blame to go around - something rotten top to bottom at the club right now. The owners ...
