Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium

Mainoo looked excellent across both games. Him and Rice in the middle SHOULD be how we set up for the first game in the Euros. However, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Henderson or Phillips in there too. Because Southgate. We have an embarrassment of riches going forward, but the state of the back 5 ...

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium

Bowen probably passes fowards a little too often for Southgate’s liking. Why attack when you can go sideways or backwards and maybe retain the ball.

Bellingham will end up being almost as good as Mark Noble one day.

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium

We might score a few goals, but we are going to concede loads against decent sides. Seems no up and coming English players want to play CB these days.

Nice assist from Stormzy though.

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium

New England shirts look awful. Fergie would be swapping them at half time.

Re: England -v- Brazil (C4 from 1900)

Whenever I watch Southgate’s England, I have exactly the same feeling I have when I watch Moyes’s West Ham. Stodgy tactics, fear of defeat, square pegs in round holes. Whenever England or West Ham come up against a top team, there’s no belief that we can win against them, and that stems entirely fro...

Re: England -v- Brazil (C4 from 1900)

Another two year cycle with some of the best players we’ve had in decades about to be wasted.

Twist.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Amazing how for some, not a single player is immune from criticism but Moyes is. Now we’ve even got a post saying our fans deserve this performance. Unbelievable. Moyes is the manager. He is responsible for tactics, team selection and the motivation and management of the players. If the tactics are...
